I understand KoP.
There are so many factors involved.

Up until now perhaps the time hasn't been right?
I have asked myself many questions before taking the plunge.
Were the management rubbish?
Were they so small that nobody would notice them?
Are they useless at marketing?

After as much research as is possible, from online only,I was pleasantly surprised.

Their product seemed exceedingly clever and in not using harsh ingredients, likely would please the environmentally conscious.
It was being taken seriously enough to be included in the research university in Finland.
Different countries around the world were actively looking into it
as a real possibility.
It not only meant that they were 'going green' but actually saving money if they adopted it.

I came to the conclusion that perhaps whilst genius like in their chemistry, they were lacking in marketing skills .... I could be wrong.

I am hoping that they have recognised this and in recruiting the ex Shell man they have someone with experience from a large company that might provide the impetus needed?
If not I notice that he is at least taking them into the ESG realm.

An important buzz word at the moment.

Any success or failure can be hinged on the smallest of things ,sometimes we even need a bit of luck.

It is dependent on news like most companies.
I could have sold out at 2.50 odd but I didn't, because I believe in the research.
Getting contracts is what will make it go the extra mile and that is unknown at this time.

I never ramp....I believe in honesty and part of that, is sharing my research for those that haven't time.
From where I'm standing I haven't yet, seen you post anything remotely worthwhile.
Everyone knows these are a risk or they wouldn't be 2p but a risk worth taking in my view.

I didn’t hear you say “it will drift” while you were ramping it?

I accept it will drift until news, but it is worth looking at for it's Valkor success alone this year.
We have done our bit, we've put the product out there, done the trials, now it's down to the customers to take the plunge like Valkor did !

Implementation of MSARĀ® in refineries and power generation facilities in key regions such as Ecuador and Mexico can deliver cost savings of ~US$100 million per year per refinery to governments, whilst also benefiting the population and environment through lower emissions.

How many times have we seen it?
A news item comes out....the market makers mark the price up....people pile in at that inflated price and join the herd.

Do your research, decide if you think they have a chance to succeed and pick your moment is how I work.

Sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn't.

I do really like this company though and hope it succeeds as much for themselves as me.

And at least I have gained in knowledge along the way.
I hope to find various alternative fuels firms, with substance, too, so as to spread the risk so am very open to ideas.
In the meantime....go for it QFI!

I have done my research.
I know the company has a lot going for it.

We know that investors are notoriously impatient and if a company has stated a month, when that time is up, then you get dribbles of them leaving.

The product is proven but of course a customer would want it to be trialed on their own vessel first.

My thought are, that any small company however good an invention and or product, has an equally hard task bringing it to the customer, both in terms of marketing and acceptance.
Then there is competition.

I have never claimed it is risk free.

I am willing to take that risk, because I fully understand
the product, now ( unlike poster above) realise it's totally on trend and is likely to get a lot more attention when companies are exposed for their fuel usage, which I fully expect to happen soon.

QFI small?

Yes.

But they have come along way, are ahead of the pack and use some very climate friendly ingredients, that save companies money as well as making them look good!

I am very aware that the share price will drift like any company with out news.

Conversely if they just get one of those contracts it will give it a great boost!

We hope for positive news.

But even if it doesn't come in the next little while, this company still has something of value, that could really gain traction in the months ahead, if they have a just a bit of luck in securing those contracts!

Go for it QFI!
