Qonnectis Trading Update TIDMQTI RNS Number : 0560V Qonnectis plc 03 July 2009 Qonnectis plc ("Qonnectis" or the "Company") Trading Update The Directors of Qonnectis (AIM: QTI), the data monitoring service provider for utilities and users of energy and water, note the recent share price movement and confirm that the Company is still in discussions with a number of entities which could lead to additional funding for the Company. However, in the absence of these funding options being secured, the directors believe the Company will have insufficient funds to continue to trade. inside2: Also work out how much QTI need to survive another year, at the least, plus R&D now add that up. Next work out a placing at .1p and see just how many shares that equates to, add to the number of shares in issue and you get some idea what your holding will be worth when those shares hit the secondary market. QTI need a share price as high as possible to show a good enough discount to encourage the lender to part with the cash. Right now you buyers are helping QTI to get a deal done while the shrewed money is waiting to see what QTI have on offer, new IP or deals that require finance ect then with dilution out of the way we may well consider it worth while and start buying. By that time all the shaky holders and there are many of them will have sold, at a loss and the price will have tanked.

inside2: Buyers are buying because there is a possibility of funding? That is just about the most stupid thing I have ever heard, do you bimbo's not realise it will delute the share price massively and have you not considered that the CEO has already alerted prospective lenders to the fact that QTI will fold without funding so they know QTI has no option but to accept what is on offer no matter how onerous. Unless there is something, like new ground breaking IP the best she can show is a £20,000 half year t/o and a cash burn that is embarrassing plus a deal with another international reseller after the last one presumably gave up after not producing any sales at all. If the management had spent as much time and effort getting sales as they have on milking any value left in the share price perhaps QTI would not be in this hole.

ddlooker: * The Directors of Qonnectis (AIM: QTI), the data monitoring service provider for utilities and users of energy and water, note the recent share price movement and confirm that the Company is still in discussions with a number of entities which could lead to additional funding for the Company. * The Board of Qonnectis plc ("Qonnectis"), the data monitoring service provider for utilities and users of energy and water, announces that it has signed a letter of intent with Primary Water PLC ("Primary Water") under which Primary Water will be able to evaluate Qonnectis products and commence trials with a view to progressing business plans and proposals for the distribution of Qonnectis products into various territories. They do say that they are in discussions with a number of entities which could lead to additional funding. This is all we know, and anything said otherwise on this BB is pure speculation, and has to be treated as such. QTI are now turning the corner, and Barbara Spurrier has obviously shaken things up, and hopefully go on to achieve the true potential that we all invested in many months if not years ago.

extrap: QTI has every reason to talk up this potential deal because of its funding crisis. But it is by no means obvious that the activities of Primary Water are a good fit with the kinds of products supplied by QTI. The dilution resulting from last year's funding caused the share price to drop by about one third. At that stage it seemed to be in reasonable shape. Since then the chief exec has left the company and sold most of his shares, the other two senior execs with experience in the water industry have left the company, and the turnover in the first half of the current financial year was about £20k No specific sales have been reported since. So If they do get funding the effect is likely to be even more diluting than last year's effort.

gogoneko: ddlooker, It's the same old mutual backslapping fanfare that comes with such RNSs! Take for example: Michael Tapia, Chief Executive of Qonnectis, commented: "HWM is internationally recognised as a leading supplier of water infrastructure and leakage products. The agreement will enable both parties to quickly take Leakfrog to a very wide global market." Mike Tennant, Business Development and Marketing Director of Palmer Environmental/HWM, said: "We are very excited about the potential for Leakfrog with our customer base and look forward to a strong partnership with Qonnectis". .... and look what happened to that partnership ... QTI revenues collapsed to almost nothing. Primary Water may be able to do a whole lot better than HWM, but I doubt it, and wouldn't expect past performance to have gone unnoticed by those who've indicated the possibility of funding. I've had difficulty finding much information, financial or otherwise, on Primary Water, which is hardly inspiring confidence. [edit : I should add that I'd almost expect the share price to rocket if funding is announced because QTI shareholders go barmy very easily and merrily throw their money around!]

sagem: Banks are lending again and I don't think QTI will have much trouble in getting funding....the thought of funding has already dropped the share price, so any funding from today's share price will give a good percentage increase to the shares.....so fingers crossed.

billthebank: QTI share price is no different from virtually every other share of late ie the trend is down. Just look at the Banks;Chemical companies/Bio techs/SOLA/ GCM to name a couple of areas & a couple of shares & there are many more. It has nothing at all to do with RNS or lack of news. Times is hard or haven't u heard. Apart from the recent pump & dump by Bill46 QTI have just been symptomatic of the trend everywhere. Just be patient & remember why u invested in this Co in the first place & keep the faith & ur patience. This share will do well It just may take a little time!!

gwr7: Wozelbeak, you've worked out inside2 is a desperado. If the work he put into pumping up the volume could be translated into a QTI share price they'd be worth £10 at least.
