Morning mhw,yes she is a nice lady and sounded very upbeat. Thinks it's their new product "leakfrog" developed in collaboration with Thames water that is getting a lot of interest.

...The Frog has been around for ages and nobody buys it. They did a tie up with a massive player in the market who has delivered absolutely squat.

You're banding around information about companies you know nothing about. QTI will absolutely be looking for funding as their very imminent survival depends on it but it's not going to come come from any of the names you've quoted and Primary Water are (despite the garbage you posted about them) not selling anything and have no revenue to speak of themselves (or hadn't when they last posted accounts) they have failed in their efforts to raise money and float, even on the tiddler Plus Market.

...go back to your Lego

Well gogenko, Thames water has a 50% stake in Leakfrog and Primary Water also seem to be interested.

Letter of Intent Signed (Qonnectis)

TIDMQTI

RNS Number : 5638V
Qonnectis plc
14 July 2009

Qonnectis plc

Letter of Intent Signed with Primary Water

The Board of Qonnectis plc ("Qonnectis"), the data monitoring service provider
for utilities and users of energy and water, announces that it has signed a
letter of intent with Primary Water PLC ("Primary Water") under which Primary
Water will be able to evaluate Qonnectis products and commence trials with a
view to progressing business plans and proposals for the distribution of
Qonnectis products into various territories.

It is expected that a three year distribution agreement will be signed giving
Primary Water exclusivity to distribute Qonnectis products into Australia and
Russia, and all other countries worldwide excluding the UK, Ireland and China on
a non-exclusive basis. The distribution agreement will be subject to minimum
sales volumes and will include joint funding of specific product development.

During the evaluation phase Qonnectis will receive a fee for providing the test
units. All data generated by Primary Water will be shared with Qonnectis whilst
the intellectual property rights remain with Qonnectis.

The agreement covers the Leak Frog, Swift, MyMeter technologies and associated
products.

Barbara Spurrier, Interim Chief Executive commented:

"This agreement will lead to a much broader marketing infrastructure and allow
us to enter new markets quickly. Primary Water has identified various target
markets where they are confident that our products will be well received."

Morning mhw,yes she is a nice lady and sounded very upbeat. Thinks it's their new product "leakfrog" developed in collaboration with Thames water that is getting a lot of interest.

Commercial Launch of Leakfrog - domestic water leakage monitoring device

Qonnectis plc ("Qonnectis" or "the Company") is officially launching Leakfrog, its innovative product for detecting and measuring domestic water leaks. This follows Thames Water ("Thames") and Qonnectis agreeing a licence arrangement with respect to Thames' 50% interest in the Leakfrog intellectual property, which will allow the Company to market Leakfrog nationally and internationally.

Developed in partnership with Thames, and currently being rolled out by Thames as part of its Victorian Mains Renewal programme, Leakfrog allows water companies, for the first time, to monitor their domestic customers' homes for water leaks, using highly cost-effective and unique technology.

Leakfrog's main features include:

- Enabling water companies to widely monitor for "customer-side leakage" for the first time;

- Constant monitoring of homes for water leakage and wastage;

- Detecting and indicating the presence of leaks;

- Indicating exact magnitude of leak;

- Ease of integration with utilities' existing meter reading systems;

- Cost-effective, facilitating volume installations in homes;

Amongst Leakfrog's value-add benefits to water utilities and their customers is the ability to:

- Reduce water losses;

- Reduce subsequent damage to buildings;

- Accurately provide complete data for leakage levels all the way to customer use point;

- Enable water companies to improve efficiency and, for example, reduce the need to develop new water sources or reservoirs; and

- Benefit the environment in terms of preserving a precious natural
resource

Commenting on the launch of Leakfrog, Michael Tapia, Qonnectis' Chief Executive, said:

"Having undergone extensive tests and now volume adoption by Thames Water, Leakfrog is proven in the field. We are now looking to target all the other UK water companies, as well as overseas companies, with the aim of large volume throughout the water industry. Water is the world's most precious natural resource and its supply is increasingly under threat. As the need for water conservation becomes increasingly recognised we expect Leakfrog to have a major beneficial effect on water supply efficiency and Qonn

* The Directors of Qonnectis (AIM: QTI), the data monitoring service provider for utilities and users of energy and water, note the recent share price movement and confirm that the Company is still in discussions with a number of entities which could lead to additional funding for the Company.

* The Board of Qonnectis plc ("Qonnectis"), the data monitoring service provider for utilities and users of energy and water, announces that it has signed a letter of intent with Primary Water PLC ("Primary Water") under which Primary Water will be able to evaluate Qonnectis products and commence trials with a view to progressing business plans and proposals for the distribution of Qonnectis products into various territories.

They do say that they are in discussions with a number of entities which could lead to additional funding.
This is all we know, and anything said otherwise on this BB is pure
speculation, and has to be treated as such.

QTI are now turning the corner, and Barbara Spurrier has obviously shaken things up, and hopefully go on to achieve the true potential that we all invested in many months if not years ago.

QTI recently had two splits, early June they divided by 10 and a couple of weeks later they multiplied by 10.

...Sorry but this is totally incorrect. They had a stock split as the actual value fell below the shareprice, and that is not allowed under the SE rules. There has been NO consolidation at all.

Following a Capital Reorganisation, the following security has been amended:-

QONNECTIS PLC
+-------------------+--------------------------+----------------------------+
| 3,936,080,230 | Ordinary Shares of 0.1p | (B4Y30T1)(GB00B4Y30T15) |
| | each | |
| | fully paid | |
+-------------------+--------------------------+----------------------------+

This should appear as:

QONNECTIS PLC
+-------------------+--------------------------+----------------------------+
| 393,608,023 | Ordinary Shares of 0.1p | (B61K8F1)( GB00B61K8F13) |
| | each | |
| | fully paid | |
+-------------------+--------------------------+----------------------------+

Hence today's market Cap of £1.37m rather than £13m as quoted in error.

QTI recently had two splits, early June they divided by 10 and a couple of weeks later they multiplied by 10. So to anyone viewing the shares recently it would "appear" that the share price went up x10 and the number of issued shares /10. Goldmans earlier comment about buying recently at 0.04 and making a killing aren't corrent as you would of got back a tenths of what you bought and so this would been equivalent to buying today at 0.4.

However, todays news should ensure they get further funding which will be another of todays blips when they announce that but overall the news means they should survive the recession and can only head up from here.

Gogenko,(what kind of username is that ?)Back from shopping(tesco's) coulden't resist you two de-rampers...love it!

Well,Barbara said that she was very happy with the way the company was going and the proposed deal with Primary Water.
But why don't you give her a call, in fact why don't ALL shareholders give her a call she's a very nice lady.

Every company listed on the stock exchange is struggling including Lloyds Xtrata etc, etc.

Look at Nipson digital the printers. Nobody is buying newspapers or magazines but just on restructuring their debt they leap to nearly 2p!!!

Get real chaps on any kind of funding be it share issue, joint venture, etc qti share price will rocket and you know it.

But sad thing is gogenko you missed the boat, share price held up today.

Shareholders ring the company you will surely come away with a smile on your face.

For goodness sake give them a call, check out what i'm saying....dyor.

Don't take my word,it will only cost you a few pence to check it out.

ddlooker,

"In answer to your question, why not?"

If you can't debate or simply don't have a worthwhile answer then just say so rather than flannel. And don't bother inferring that only shareholders have a right to an opinion or can highlight failures - that's just comic.

If you spoke to Barbara why haven't you bothered to let us know what was said - I'm sure that everyone here would be interested.

Have you actually seen who Primary Water are and their fantastic track record and well-funded progress they have made over the last few years - NOT.

Oh yes their connection to Unilever is through a tiny unquoted company called Voltea which is a Uniler Ventures spin-out.

It's as big a basket case as QTI. Failed fundraisings and involvement of ARC, not exactly the cream of the crop! Last filed reports show loss of £421,000 and staff costs of £75,000. What exactly are they going to sign up for in terms of minimum spend with QTI. Their listed cash in hand on their balance sheet is :

£3,878

Well done, big order expected then....

Wake up people.

Well firstly gogenko,why have you been blogging on this board all day when you could have been blogging on a stock you own?

That is a little sad for anyone unless there is another motive.

In answer to your question, why not?

Why issue rns?

Please see my previous post that mentions Primary Water with a unilever connection announced last month.

Now i'll have to sign off because the wife wants to go shopping, but will gladly re-post all the factual posts and more that i've researched today...tomorrow.

IMO funding will be no problem.

I have spoken to Barbara myself today. It's easy, just pick up the phone and do the same.

ddlooker,

No I don't hold any shares in QTI - and won't until they show some signs of their products generating revenues beyond a couple of £k.

Now your turn: Please explain why you're so confident that Primary Water will succeed where Halma Water failed.

QTI has every reason to talk up this potential deal because of its funding crisis. But it is by no means obvious that the activities of Primary Water are a good fit with the kinds of products supplied by QTI.
The dilution resulting from last year's funding caused the share price to drop by about one third. At that stage it seemed to be in reasonable shape. Since then the chief exec has left the company and sold most of his shares, the other two senior execs with experience in the water industry have left the company, and the turnover in the first half of the current financial year was about £20k No specific sales have been reported since. So If they do get funding the effect is likely to be even more diluting than last year's effort.

gogenko, please answer the simple question do you hold shares in qti?..Or are you de-ramping for your own gain

All i've done is printed facts after doing research.

I would never bad mouth a company because it's not fair and other decent punters hold shares.

AIM-listed tiddler Qonnectis has signed a letter of intent with Primary Water to commence trials of Qonnectis's data monitoring products.

Qonnectis expects successful trials will lead to a three year deal that will give Primary Water exclusive distribution rights for Qonnectis products in Australia and Russia, and non-exclusive distribution rights for all other countries in the world except the UK, Ireland and China.

The distribution agreement will be subject to minimum sales volumes and will include joint funding of specific product development

ddlooker,

It's the same old mutual backslapping fanfare that comes with such RNSs! Take for example:

Michael Tapia, Chief Executive of Qonnectis, commented:

"HWM is internationally recognised as a leading supplier of water infrastructure and leakage products. The agreement will enable both parties to quickly take Leakfrog to a very wide global market."

Mike Tennant, Business Development and Marketing Director of Palmer Environmental/HWM, said:

"We are very excited about the potential for Leakfrog with our customer base and look forward to a strong partnership with Qonnectis".

.... and look what happened to that partnership ... QTI revenues collapsed to almost nothing.

Primary Water may be able to do a whole lot better than HWM, but I doubt it, and wouldn't expect past performance to have gone unnoticed by those who've indicated the possibility of funding. I've had difficulty finding much information, financial or otherwise, on Primary Water, which is hardly inspiring confidence.

[edit : I should add that I'd almost expect the share price to rocket if funding is announced because QTI shareholders go barmy very easily and merrily throw their money around!]

Primary Water appears to have a very questionable pedigree:

Frankly it and QTI both look like bargepole jobs.
