07/3/2017 09:21 | So overvalued 300k profit With at 875m valuationHahaha Value this at 50p max This will come crashing down , they are nothing special . | elliotset
06/3/2017 21:26 | I'm expecting at least 400p tomorrow. A billion £ valuation. | blueball
06/3/2017 19:51 | stay long. | blueball
06/3/2017 19:34 | Also Suzypink, if you're going to watch it that intently put a stop in anyway. If MMs do a big tree-shake you will *want* to get shaken out then buy back in. Support seems to be just under 300p. Says a man who doesn't take his own advice and just got caught in G4M's 1/7th plummet. | runthejoules
06/3/2017 19:20 | U forget it can raise money in the 10s of millions as it's mkt cap goes up This is an Amazon. | stallone10
06/3/2017 18:29 | Good luck to all, whether you are holding for 1000p +, or banking profits or starting to load some shorts, it's the fun of the markets. Some great stocks around, high risk, high reward but it's that type of market. I mix my holdings with solid multi national performers like Glaxo etc | ny boy
06/3/2017 17:49 | suzypink - If you dont mind me saying, I disagree with your strategy! "think I'll keep an eye on it for a few days and see if the climb continues then decide" is classic how not to do it. Runthejoules has given some excellent advice, alternatively, put a stop loss in for all or part of your holding NOW, locking in profit. The beauty of this is that if it begins to fall you have already made the decision and locked in the profit. I can almost guarantee you if it begins to fall … in an even semi big way, you will freeze and be so angry that you have lost your gains. No one ever went bankrupt from banking a profit. Just my 2p worth of course and the best of luck whatever you decide. | gorilla36
06/3/2017 16:16 | Strong finish today more tomorrow I expect. | blueball
06/3/2017 16:14 | I MADE 100,000's in 2000-2001 Tech bubble, the secret was when to sell not what you have made. Sold some at over 2000% profit. Sad part is I didn't sell ALL of them :( | au24
06/3/2017 14:06 | Thanks guys ... think Ill keep an eye on it for a few days and see if the climb continues then decide | suzypink
06/3/2017 11:26 | Suzypink, if you've made a good profit, derisk, take some off the table. No-one gets it perfect but if you believe in the company but not the price, you could trade half, keep half as a core holding. Personally I took profits too early but see this range-bound between 300-350 for a while: the ease of their raise and bullishness of Paul Scott gives me confidence (Wish I'd bought into it when he said to at New Year's!) | runthejoules
06/3/2017 11:15 | Has the making of a billion pound company. Relax. | blueball
06/3/2017 10:56 | Market seems to anticipate a reasonably high probability of success in the US. This is possible given that estate agent percentage commissions in the US are very high. When Foxtons went into New York they undercut the local percentage rate. However, I think the amount of capital they have raised is not sufficient to get going in the US just in terms of marketing. Secondly, the US is hyper competitive and entrepreneurial. I am therefore not sure why another company hasn't pursued the Purple Bricks model in the US. Sentiment towards Purple Bricks is very positive at present. But if they burn through this cash on a failed push into the US that will disappear very quickly. | trytotakeiteasy
06/3/2017 10:32 | Nothing wrong with a profit now. Nothing rises like this forever. It will fall back eventually. It boils down to how greedy you are. Once a few sell the herd will follow. | pyglet
06/3/2017 09:18 | The bit I am worst about re shares .. is knowing WHEN to take a good profit. HELP .... how far will this go do you think? | suzypink
06/3/2017 09:07 | LM, think this qualifies for HTF pattern on eod above 350. Tp 476. | bamboo2
06/3/2017 08:49 | Contradiction in there somewhere lol | ny boy
03/3/2017 15:25 | Well said smallcap this will be a winner in a bull market. blue finish. | blueball
03/3/2017 13:48 | The market cap now reflects the potential that this company has to become another online leader like betfair, rightmove, asos, just eat etc.Seems reasonable to me.In online we all know winner takes most and these guys are first to market and likely to be the winner. | smallcapinvestor1
03/3/2017 13:28 | yeah agree smithless. Anybody see Connells Group (largest private estate agency group, 2nd to only countrywide) made £77m pbt this week. lots of money to be made especially considering their margins must be far worse | lampran
03/3/2017 13:12 | By my calculation it has around 3% of the total number of properties sold in the UK, based on 1.23m homes sold in 2016. On £100m turnover it would have 10% of the mkt based on 2016 homes sold, so at 30% net margin £30m, although central cost will go up, so say £25m PBT, so PE 40x if it ever gets 10% market share. At these margins others will follow without a doubt. Traditional estate agents will start offering a no frill service. They will have to it purp gains anywhere near 10% of the mkt. The US will have to work big time to justify £800m valuation IMHO | smithless
03/3/2017 12:39 | Same brokers who were calling this down to pennies a few months back? As clueless as some of the posters on this thread, calling it down from the start..... | prewar
03/3/2017 12:30 | shut up blueball, there is no way this stock is getting anywhere near £5, it won't even reach £4. Brokers are saying this is a BIG short now apparently. | lampran |
