ian 50 is probably the one creating the rumours to scaremonger. the last trading update from jan 2010 for Q4/yr end 2009 below. according to the fundamentals, no need for concern. not that we can do anything now, but it's a bit gutless to bring out all the conspiracy theories once the company has been suspended. ian50 is boring and is filtered.




....and if it does go bust, it's only money!

A strategic initiative can be one that:

Responds to an issue that, when resolved, will have a significant impact
on the organization's results.

The Company has been, and continues to be, in discussions with its major shareholders and advisers in relation to a number of strategic initiatives. During this time the Company will not be in a position to finalise and publish its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2009 and will, therefore, be suspended from listing and trading until such time as the Annual Report and Accounts are published.

The Company is confident of bringing these discussions to a positive conclusion within a short period of time.

Naiad, what on earth do you mean, "a rights issue" ? The announcement said debt of $1.8 million. That's not a rights issue.

More debt based fund raising a week ago and no mention of the results. A share price which has been notching up for each of the last few days. Discussion of strategic initiatives, which have been and are on-going, which mean that the company cannot release its results. And all of this such that the announcement of the results is pulled on the morning they are due.

What makes results uncertain to the point they cannot be released? Valuation of income streams, going concern doubts, technical failure of the product with potential claims. All possible but would have been known about and this last minute action would not be necessary. If a bid had been received it would have to be released if it was such as to be taken seriously. If however the results coming out are poor, and the company has started discussions about a merger, would the delay in issuing results protect shareholders against selling when the value of their shares might increase due to a possible merger or other transaction. Would protecting the share price through suspension improve the relative value Puricore shareholders get if a transaction follows.

This is all very curious and disconcerting in a company that has consistently failed to deliver shareholder value.

No idea what is causing the delay in results. Only 7 days ago they announced a debt raising of £1.8 million and confirmed results would be published on 30 April. Something must of happened in the last 7 days to change this. Any ideas - good or bad?

yes its moved but 18mths or so it was 62p down to 3-4p at this present price the market is either unimpressed or the forgotton one either way as i payed far tooooomuch ive got to sit it out hoping 40p will come back.

Do not worry, this is a solid company guys...I think if the management team could be bothered putting out rns on a regular basis we would keep growing...but remember its already grown 100% share price in 12months!! Upside is good...however pi s would rather invest in quick win companies like oil n gas at the moment
