Still awaiting HMRC clearance. Next distribution could be on unwinding of ESCROW account, a few weeks from now, but might be sooner if HMRC give clearance. Expect update late next week.

I'm using this board as an aid to monitor if anyone hears any news!
will give it two weeks before starting to get pro-active.

I have a diary note to enquire on Monday if we've not heard anything by then.

My notes say "early September" for next payment, after escrow release (if it happens) 31 Aug. So probabably a bit of time to wait.

The deferred sale proceeds are due next week, so we should not have long to wait for the next distribution.

I asked the liquidator if it might be possible to email their letter to shareholders to me and they've very kindly done that. No figures are stated, simply a statement that they anticipate the total distribution to be in line with original guidance (subject to HMRC, etc)and that the next payment is likely to be early September. They haven't got HMRC clearance yet but expect it pretty soon.

It was originally mooted as up to £1.88 total return, £1.71 (£1.63 + £0.08) has been distributed so far. The first distribution of £1.63 was less than the £1.67 suggested in the original timetable so guessing maybe 11-17p to come assuming HMRC clearance.

You're welcome. My broker (TDDI) failed to notify of the Liquidators' last communication so I didn't feel I could rely on them and needed to get the information direct if at all possible. The Liquidators seem to be working through it reasonably quickly.

I've now had a reply from the liquidators which states:-

"We anticipate being in a position to pay a further distribution to shareholders once HM Revenue & Customs (‘HMRC’) have agreed the Company’s pre liquidation tax computations. Which we hope to receive confirmation of in the near future.

Distributions are also currently intended at the following points of the liquidation:

- After any funds held in escrow are released at the end of August 2016. This relates to sale proceeds payable to the Company under the terms of the Disposal Agreement. However please note that this amount will be subject to foreign exchange risk.

- After HMRC have agreed the Company’s post liquidation tax computations and provided tax clearance.

- A final distribution will then be made, after which the Joint Liquidators will convene a final general meeting of the shareholders and the liquidation will be concluded.

Please note that the Joint Liquidators intend to write to all shareholders to provide an update should a further distribution not be payable by the end of June."

Yes, but we don't know when exactly, other than it will be once HMRC have agreed the numbers. I emailed the liquidators 2nd June but haven't had a reply. I diarised it for one month.

That's pretty poor service, isn't it? I thought TDDI were dragging their heels, and I was also pee'd off with them for failing to pass on the liquidator's letter explaining the 1-week delay. I now wonder if perhaps they're above-average efficient.

Checked my account again online at 14:46 and still no payment showing. Rang TDDI and spoke to someone at 14:53, by which time, miraculously, the payment had been credited.
