There is the possibility of a buyout here - buy it out and wait out the investments - There was a similar stock not quite in this bracket but went from around 1p to around 30p over the space of 18months - It allowed its investments to mature - I'm trying to remember the ticker -

Macca - it was trading over £1 a few years back and raised equity @ i think £1.16p - Its below a penny now with NAV @ 8.4p - However i think this could be run MUCH better WITHOUT the current BOD.

Voted from lIQUIDATION - However should note that without delisting is a MUCH better option. I hope the larger holders recognise this!

Tom,I am trying to figure out how this got so low if funds are buying in and the assets are worth so much more than m/cap??And who the hell sold that chunk at 0.1p today?!!,talk about pig sick.

This could be a takeover target - indeed. Looking at it deeper i don't think a liquidation @ this stage would be the best possibility - However what PSD needs is a complete overhaul i.e change in current management -

Henderson own 12% - My personal opinion is that a donkey could do better than these chimps - However this could represent a great opportunity to buy @ these levels -

Could this be a takeover target with these assets vs market cap?Why would these buyers be upping their stakes if this was a dead duck?Tomorrow could be interesting after this afternoons buying.

SVM Asset Management Limited held 10% but it looks like Hendersons have taken the lot -

We are currently capped at £430k - so I can see plenty of scope for upside having looked at the portfolio - The best probably way for investors is a liquidation and perhaps dividends whilst a listed entity - !

NAV = 8.4P. if we say that for arguments sake we reduce that by 50% - that would give a NAV of around 4.2p - a very significant upside from current levels in liquidation.

William Henry Peter Jackson is also up to 3% with Hendersons 12% -

They have been buying a bit of stock here -

Effectively this statement stands true -

NAV Performance
The NAV has reduced by US$33.69 million or 80.49% during the period and was 0.1371 US cents per PSD share or 8.4p/share (US$8.17m in total) at 31 December 2012. Bearing in mind the illiquid nature of the Company's investments, the realisation of this NAV is highly dependent on market conditions.

We currently have a market cap of around £350k - so there should be plenty of upside potential -

The NAV as per last results although a significant writedown shows around 8p - Just noticed Hendersons up to 12% here as well -

Despite things looking so dire today (a fact hugely exacerbated by MM exploitation!) two (or possibly three) entities have built up a total stake here in excess of 15%.
Henderson have over 12% and William Henry Peter Jackson has, or have if it's two names, over 3%.
That implies someone/thing will halt the de-listing or sees a lot of value following it. More likely the former (stopping the de-listing).

Either way a good, cheap punt at this price!

Jo

PS. Look what happened to NEOS which was supposedly de-listing until a strategic investor appeared who wanted the listing!
