Grand gulf drilling update :

The Boleslaw #1 Well was spudded on 11 December 2016 and is presently completing a casing run at 952 metres. The first target is the Santonian sandstone, which is anticipated to be intersected between 1,050 metres and 1,100 metres. The second target is the Deep Cretaceous sandstone, which is anticipated to be intersected at 1,400 metres. Costs The planned total depth of 1,500 metres and expected to cost A$2.8 million, and the well is presently running on budget

113Mike yes lets hope for a better result.
I learnt the hard way with oilers a long time ago and now only leave enough running for free for the result so although disappointing at COPL I was unscathed.
There will be plenty of time here to pile in to top up if the result is good. If a bust I should still get away with a small profit.

One could argue that 'no news is good news' now that the drill is progressing. I dont know but i would have thought the well would have been P&A'd by now otherwise considering that this is only a shallow well....

Lets hope for some good news early in the New Year.

There has been a seller or seller(s?) of blocks of 250,000 or more for some time now. I see one of the sells today is 750,000 shares so perhaps s/he is finished?
