30K shares worth £27K were sold yesterday - wiped half a million off the market cap - hideous, but something you have to live with I reckon, because 30K worth of buys can add half a million to the market cap just as swiftly, on a tip, bit of news or broker upgrade.

I reckon these could easily do 10p eps next year on their current growth rate - look at TRX, XNC, ALM, CHR - all are reporting fantastic business being done.

Will be easy to miss when the buyers return imo.

I think the few traders that sold today might have read the nonsense headline on AFX 'Prologic falls after warning on new system sales'

That's nonsense as there is no warning, just a guarded comment as you'd expect in the current retail climate.

PGC rely on getting new customers tho, not how much they are selling and broker forecasts are based on them gaining a modest 4-5 new clients a year and that's without those that take up Unify Software.

The WH Ireland broker note is on the PGC site - worth taking a read imo.

a few trader sells as always, those that bought yesterday no doubt.

Thinking man's stock - look how XNC, TRX, ALM and CHR are doing and you'll see this growth in this type of software is exponential imo

quite a few footy clubs in UK and Europe that have large sales - could make a big additional market for them

Adjusted eps nearly 2p or 50% ahead of forecast, almost hit next years eps forecast this year.

And signed a contract with the Gunners! :-)

Forward eps forecast has to be raised that 2p at the very least imo, to 9p tho the new Unify software looks like it's attracting more business than expected.

They mention the retail slowdown but that does't seem to be effecting them, as these companies grow they have to manage expansion. PGC also rely on attracting about 4-5 new clients per year and have only around 5% of their UK market let alone their recent successful move into Europe.

PE must be around 10 maximum imo - which is why directors were buying recently I guess - cheap for this sector and the 50% forecast growth imo.

The more I look at this the more of a bargain it seems. The best thing is that the board is so quiet. Thursday should be interesting...

If they are ahead despite the 'Pilot Knock' then there should be a very significant markup at results...

Added some more today - results early June.

If these are ahead of forecasts they have either sorted the Pilot 'knock' and are getting their money, which will be nice, or they have beaten estimates despite it!

Looks a ruddy bargain either way

Worth a lok and a read through that recent trading statement imo.

CR,

Thanks for your thoughts.

I didn't realise that their earnings are seasonal but as you say - still look a buy considering the latest version of their software that can be used to expand into Europe.

yes, I agree about NVUK, the only think I would say is that Nurdin spoke to them and the earnings are somewhat seasonal so you can't bank on H2 eps to be doubled to give the year's earnings for next year. Director buying is a positive, not sur eI understand the company share structure tho. That's my main negatives but agree NVUK may be a buy.

It may be worth another look at INVU the code to go for is NVUK as it's cheaper. The majority of their profits come from the UK at the mo - with major expansion into Europe on the horizon and a recent director buy, it looks good to me. I think the market cap for NVUK is around 23m off the top of my head and they must have done over 1m in the second half last year - not many sellers either - even in weak markets.

MRD - annualised turnover should approach £9m this year and I suspect profits would be approaching the 1m mark without the investment required for new contracts. The director holds about 80% of the company there so no point in him buying any more.

I don't blame you for being cautious in these market conditions though and with results in June these possibly offer a better chance of quick gains. PGC are still obviously very cheap even after today's gains.

Yep, looked at INVU, Nurdin pointed them out recently - quite interesting, I'm not convinced they are screaming cheap tho allstar, I'm out to buy screaming cheap only in this market.

MRD - interesting, but one to watch rather than buy at the moment for me. Saw it on the stocks to double thread - thanks for highlighting. A director buy would make me feel a bit more confident with this one.

easy isn't it allstar!

I bet you only have to hold these till June to see a £1+ or even better, no matter what the market does - too cheap.

These will also be tipped again on Growth Company Investor tonight imo - not much of a following but they get a fair few of these little 'uns right.

So it was worth getting up at 6.45am this morning then :-)

A new thread as the old heading was rubbish imo.

Prologic is a software company supplying Epos.

A trading statement out today that they are ahead of expectations. If this is the case then they have made something like 4p+ in H2 as they made very little in H1. This should sit them on a forward PE of around 9-10 as they are forecast to do 6.9p eos in the year ahead and that is likely to be revised up if they have beaten this year's forecasts. The sector average PE is 29.5 according to Growth Company Investor.

Underlying profits were £100K in H1, they are forecast to do £630 pbt for the year by WH Ireland - if they have beaten then it looks like £550 pbt has been done or more in H2 - making the £1m forecast for the year ahead well achievable - pretty impressive from a £8m market cap company.

They boast 30 clients including Ted Baker, Paul Smith among others, none of which form more than 10% of the business and the total potential client base in the UK amounts to 400. They are now making good inroads into Europe.

Directors have been buying recently and the company says it will post more details in the results in early June.

If these traded on half the sector average and a PE of 15 then the share price would be 104p and that's before any upgrades to next year's forecast. A penny upgrade and see them trade at the market average and they could trade well over £2+

Potential gain compared to down side looks rather good to me so I have been buying today. Worth a bit of research perhaps
