Fivedays objectives, i suspect, are not particularly concerned with debating the company. Don't have any real issue with what he's doing as long as people are aware of what's going on. | spooky | |

I'd pose the question, is this concurrent with a healthy boardroom?? I think not. Everyone needs to think why the market seems hell bent on keeping the stock on a very low multiple. Triggering article 50 now disclosed as March 2017 will pummel this stock as already mentioned in the report foreign workers make up 95% of employees who work long hours for minimum wages. Replicate that with British workers and margins and profits will be slashed. Much safer stocks around. | fivedays | |
30/9/2016 19:11 | Well I've doubled-up. It's a good company. I do also wonder whether a bid is on the way from the outgoing Chairman (and Finance Director). Maybe they are thinking of an MBO as the Chairman has 22% or so of the company anyway. There is no real reason for their departure and it seems amicable. New Chairman will make £1m if the bid comes in next year. Even if there is no bid this is a robust company with good cash flow. Cheap! | topvest | |

Excluding exceptionals (and they exceptional), EPS on a full tax charge comes out at 26.6p fully diluted, so they are trading at 5.6 times earnings, yielding more than 5%. I think management have done all the right things, they are paying down debt and i think it looks very interesting medium term.It reminds me a bit of FIF five years ago and that turned out pretty well. | spooky | |
