Reading between the lines of the results, it looks as if they have their eye on someone, will be interesting to see what develops in the sector in the way of consolidation in the weeks and months ahead.

I must have had my rose tinted shades on when I bought a shedload of this stock a few weeks ago.

The Guardian says PAS rose 1p on bid speculation and 'the men in dark glasses' were buying.

It was sunny on Friday and I did have me Ray Bans on but never realised the hack from the press were watching so close.

Looks very much like stakebuilding so as you say MBO or a target for takeover.

PAS - second highest volume day.
The chunky trades of 3 and 4m at 3.6 and 3.4 went through at a higher price than the big trades on the highest volume day of 19/2/03 when 13m shares were traded mostly at 3.0

MBO very soon I should think and at a substantially higher price than today's close imo.

Didn't Citywire say buy them at 9p too?

Hmmm...I wouldn't listen to their MBO dreams then.

I'd be looking at the Football clubs as buys now rather than the leaching agents. If transfer fees have died it leaves more in the pot for the clubs - they might actually start running these outfits as commercial enterprises.
