Great note out on PRZ pre results from Peel Hunt and referring to the recent acquired stores dated Aug 27.

Snippet:

"Excellent value: Prezzo has acquired a year's roll-out in one go. Furthermore,
given its net cash position, the deal should prove highly earnings-enhancing.
Prior to our moving our numbers (to reflect the deal), the shares trade on an
EV/EBITDA of less than 5x; given the track record, this looks far too low"

Another 2p and it's a breakout. I always look for a catalyst and todays news should be it. Resistance tested three times, usually fourth time lucky and I agree with CR, you don't expand unless your business model is telling you that it is profitable to do so.

Buying 11 new stores to convert to Prezzo - you don't do that unless trading is good and you're feeling confident.

Results brought forward to Sep 2nd too.

350K+ sales in the past 2 days yet the shares haven't flinched - a large buyer about ahead of the results in 10 days time imo.

Yep, the problem for tip sheets is that they have to fill issues and I'd respect them more if they said 'we haven't anything to tiop this week' rather than tipping anything.'

Perhaps they are right but I'm definitely not swayed - staying very long up to the results :-)
