Picked this up from Eaglet interim statement from P Webb. Dated 2-2-05


I am personally disappointed with the performance but mindful that some of the
reasons that we did not meet my expectations were well documented in previous
reports. The main contributors to our underperformance were Pressac and Eurodis Electron where share price falls offset a significant number of gains within the portfolio. At least these shareholdings are now at valuations unlikely to impact negatively on performance.

Anyone care to comment?

Sure is Partner, just not much to say. Final results due end of April, I am hoping to hear that the worst news is behind us now, and 05, 06 there is a more positive out look from the company. Also I would like to see the debt reduced or restructured.

In my opinion the final results in April will be a significant time for the company, if there is no improvement or sign of recovery then Pressac will be taken out by TT, but at what price? That will be up to Webb.

Had another phone conversation with Pressac last week, I know the name and position of the person in the company but will disclose that on a BB.
Chris Woodwark is doing a tour of the divisions for his report for the final results in April. I said I am hoping for a better 05 than 04, the lady replied so are we and we are very busy. She did not give any more away but she did seem very confident and upbeat.

Bid price is still ticking up.

Up to 4.47p at TDW.

Sell price 4.65p.

Only a 0.18p spread. I've seen this reduce to 0.1p spread. If it does again, I'll be in for more.

"The Board of Pressac plc ("Pressac") announces that Harry Gordon, Chief Operating Officer, will retire as an Executive Director today as he nears the Company retirement age of 60."

as he NEARS the retirement age of 60 !!

Is he being used as an explanation of the Brazil fiasco ?

All speculation of course with no real evidence.
