Petlover I am still comfortable that a takeover (or a disposal of pet plans) is not on the radar currently. I do really feel the Directors, who own circa 75% of the business would not be interested at anywhere near this value and also I do agree with Lomax that big businesses tend to want to see large revenues and profits and don't mind paying more at that stage. I am not dismissing the possibility but I think it's unlikely. Re the wording - the loan runs for two years so certainly not inconceivable that in eighteen months time an attractive offer comes in? The wording is, I think, just in case that scenario plays out then.As a left field alternative perhaps the buying group could be disposed of for a few million.

I have already shown my fears of a takeover, the up and coming AGM being used to possibly vote it through.

The other issue I have is with the statement put out in the last ten days re finance.
I find it a little odd the words major part of the business are used which can only mean the Pet Plans. That, and the fact that the HSBC overdraft is no longer required.

Of course this may well be me reading between the lines, something that is not there.

The BFSL Loan Note will be repayable on 31 January 2019 and has other normal early repayment events including a disposal of a major part of the business or early repayment of other loan notes. In the event of early repayment, the interest for any unexpired period to the end of the full term will become payable. The Company has also concluded that it will no longer take up an overdraft facility it was negotiating with HSBC.

The rise is either down to the realisation by others that PVG is the growth share that myself and others here have believed for the last two years.

OR

It's going to be taken out before it's time.

I am with you and would rather see the company grow organically.

If they get anywhere near Zeus's PBT target, then I have no issue with that target, however if it was generally perceived as being 'nailed on', then the share price would already be substantially higher than it currently is.

If it is heading in that direction, then I would also prefer PVG stays independent for as long as possible.

Rolling on from my last post.

PVG created the 10% market share in Holland they did not grab it from another party.

I disagree Lomax99.

The proof can be found by looking at the UK and European sales to date.

It has to be one of the easiest concepts to scale when you have deals done with the drug companies and the wholesalers.

PVG picked up 10% of the Dutch market in 18 months. That from a standing start.

Large companies looking for non organic growth have the choice when playing the M and A game.

Buy prior to the growth or pay more down the line.

Since the broker has a potential value of over £150M within 36 months, paying £40 - £50M today might seem a bargain to some.

These are just my ramblings and should not be taken to seriously.😃😃

Famous last words, but can't see a takeover on this surfacing anytime soon....
They still need to sufficiently prove the concept on the prospects for significant scalable growth.

Bought a starter position this afternoon. PVG chart appears to have a confirmed HTF [High and Tight Flag] pattern. Chart to follow.

HYDRUS

If the price holds till market close it will have been up no less than Nine days in a row.

It's as if the clock is ticking to buy cheap stock prior to any announcement, paying a bit more each day to entice sellers.

My real worry is a takeover with the meeting to pass it on the same day as the AGM on March 3rd.

Any takeover meeting requires 14 clear days notice, I doubt it would be under 21 days.

Have to say I will sleep better after we get over the next few days.

Yes actual spread is 224p - 235p. Not sure why the published spread is always wider.

Yet another new high for PVG.

As I have repeatedly posted.

Find any company growing very fast with fat margins and recurring revenues and your sorted: so long as the company delivers with no slip ups on the way.👏

Was that a 200k roll over ? If so it smacks as though someone knows something is going to happen short term , they don't want to commit funds therefore roll over. Perhaps an update relating to America specifically??? Just guessing really
