My opinion for what it's worth! 23rd we gain back territory! Lots have sold and lots are seeing a good opertunity to add! It will swing to buys! IMO!

Shorters need to increase their short position to offset any buying for the same reason

RogkI'll give you the benefit of the doubt for one question. If the shorters close out then they are contributing to pressure on the share price to rise and go in the opposite direction of the target 62p VWAP.As that is the whole purpose of their shorts in the first place why would they close before the 23rd?

I have posted a number of times about the shorters.Personally I have no idea what the game plan is.You could ask the question, Why have The Canadian Plan Investment Board held a short position since April 2016?Why did the shorters not close way back in November 2016 at 49-50p?.The share price has come down from 99p to 58p.Why are the shorters not closing now? With the refinancing news making progress why continue to short below 60p?Its the small investor that takes it on the chin as they are the ones that get worried by the price fuctuations and sell out due to panic rather than taking a longer term view.Completly understandable but at some point the tide will turn and everyone will be back on the band wagon.I have looked at a number of companies were large short positions are held and I still have no real idea of the stratagy of some of the shorters.I guess as the price falls small investors sell and it becomes a self perpetuating cycle.I have mentioned maybe the shorter are using the money to finance another counter investment or something.Who knows.

The current position is that everyone is aware of the VWAP until the 22nd. There is not much to comment about it that hasn't already been said. That leaves a vacuum on threads like this that get filled with muppets who like to post incessantly because they believe they have an audience. So they just post trash Nothing has changed since the VWAP started. Results were ok and POO has had a wobble but the 62p VWAP is still the only game in town.Probably best not to feed the muppets Glen. They thrive on it.

2 major potential serious headwinds.

1. Some speculators think the glut and the low oil price cycle could last for 10 years.....I personally don't think it'll be that long but the glut looks set in till 2019/20 at least, even with the OPEC cuts

2. Pulling of Aramco IPO on valuation grounds, meaning there'd be no reason for the Saudi's to continue to support the Oil price

Yesterdays VWAP was 58.9 on just 4.6 MM shares.
Composite VWAP now 62.33 so there's still likely to be some downward pressure, although probably less need to "churn" as there may be some genuine selling on this depressed OP.

3 more days with yesterdays price & volumes gives them their target, so if you're a bargain hunter perhaps best not to wait much longer....

NAI, CYA etc..
