okay, I'll go allong with that topvest £14.3m would be matching historic levels on a 5 to 7 ratio. 'Much improved' must add 10% at leat imo so a good £15m + acquisitions.

I would agree - something like £20m * 5/7 - say £15m ish + the acquisition.

Their distributors are enjoying better levels of sales. According to the statement there are 500 now compared to 700 last year. They are probably meaning individual distributors are having a better time but there are many less of them.

they did £15.6m sales H1 last year but if we are talking historically then £19.6m and £19.9m in the previous two years.

Last year when they did £15.6m sales in H1 the full year was £23m.

On that basis PDR could do well north of £23m for the year.

yep, the better than 'historic levels' was what sounded good to me.

They said this at the AGM

"CURRENT TRADING

The Board is pleased to announce that the Group has returned to profitability in September 2006. The focus on supporting a lower cost and much simplified territory network has been well received by our distributors. "

Very interesting indeed. Like this bit from the results:

'Since the year end, the operational changes have stabilised the business,
reversed the decline in distributor earnings and established a stable platform
on which to build future profitable growth'

Will have a dabble on Monday 8-)

Amazing how many times a large trade signals the bottom of a stock. Looking interesting...

Actually another large trade at the close for 1.7m.

If you look at the trades it's 1.7m one way and the other three trades are the other side of the trade more or less adding up to the 1.7m bar a bit.

one big seller and 3 buyers I would hazzard a guess at.

Has Gyllenhammar or Rankin sold out. It will have been a good return for either of them as they bought in @28p 25% increase in a few months isn't bad.

Hi CR,

Very interesating. Some Very Big trades went through. I hope so! they will be out of the restricted period now the results are out. If it is, the share price should shoot up once its out.

Whatever way, someone is prepared to pay good money for a slug of these?

My other thoughts, is someone wanting to take these over? wouldn't cost much at the moment and there is good future growth?

What do you make of the large trades morwood?

Ticked up on them. I reckon someone has taken a million off somebody - will be interesting if it's a director buy.

Hi CR,

Good to see you in this one!

I have been banging on about these for a while now. Bought a large slug at 35p a few months back so happy with todays announcement.

The company is on the turn, Directors have large stakes and then we have the Gyllenhammar & Rankin on board. These have a long way to go!

Final results out 16 Nov - 10days time, share price has been drifting a lot as would be expecting with little information. Maybe a bit of a rally then?

I wonder when there will be a further trading statement issues? Possibly then? It would have been a month after the last one?

The statement looks ok to me. New FD will wash everything out now. Big bath approach. Get all the bad news out at once - blame on previous management and then good recovery from then.

Yes, looked ok from my perspective. New FD - clearing up anything he doesn't like the look of - not a surprise really. Good news that September was profitable and so things now looking better for the current year.

The website is a lot better than old one. More slick and easier to use. Hopefully this will transpire with the rest of the company.

Key dates to note on the calendar:

20th November - Announcement of the prelims
15th December – AGM

Has anyone any price targets for this and/or timescales?

There is a new website which seems to reflect the streamlining and changes within the company.
