probably worth forgeting about a dividend with a stock like this.
2.5% will count for nothing if the share price doubles over the next year- who cares.

Could be my imagination but since my observations regarding my local Power League, the premises appear much tidier ...........

I was there last week and the lounge was obviously aired and the whole building was generally fresher and much improved.

The surrounding grounds were also very much improved and a very caring cleaner type was much in evidence.

All in all, my son had three days there during his half term. He loved it and once again the coaching was brilliant. I cannot sing the praises highly enough of the lads who look after the youngsters. Brilliant !

About 50 children there per day , £10.00 each so keeping the cash flow in good shape for Power League.

Must admit, I'm tempted to invest myself. I like investing where I can see what is going on.

Powerleague, the leading commercial operator of 5-a-side football centres in the
UK will be reporting its interim results for the six months ended 31 December
2005 on February 28th 2006, which the Directors expect to show further progress.

ignoble - interesting comments... where were you at I may pass the comments on to management....

I think that each center has its own team running it so possibly just a poorly run place that you went to?? The newer ones will undoubtedly be better..

Just an observation...........I was at a Power League last night with my 7 year old ............
99% children there but what my wife & I found alarming was that the reception and "lounge" stank of stale cigarettes & otherwise. The lounge was in a poor state of decor to our eyes. Also no-one was working in the bar ..we could n't get a cuppa on a cold night although eventually a receptionist did help out.
An X-Box was not working.
The changing rooms were also a little tatty.............

The football pitches are excellent and there is no doubt that there were a lot of youngsters there paying £2.50 for an hours footy.

The coaches were very good ........

So, tidy the social facilities up, please ......and then they have something really good going .......

All IMHO etc ..............

I reckon that they were sells, soaking up the recent buys. Buys of that size would have caused a movement in the share price
