Any feedback from Mr Booth, Arthur?

A good sign ALS.

Of course the reason I hung on to these shares in the first place was the expectation that land values would rise substantially. Unfortunately it turnes out that the initial estimate of land value already took that into account!

Maybe the long delay will turn out to be worth it after all.

I'm thinking of calling Tony Booth to ask a few questions:

Here are some of the question i'd like answered. If anybody else has any ideas for questions they'd like answered please let me know and if they seem sensible i'll try to ask them.

1) In February's results you told us that you expected discussions to start with the council soon over the land usage mix and apportionment of regeneration costs. Have these discussions now started and when do you expect them to be finished? If they haven't started when do you expect them to start?

2) At what point will you try to realise the value in the land? Do you have any idea how long this might take? Do you have an up to date market value for the land?

3) How will the land be sold? Do you still intend to try to sell the whole company so that the tax losses can be used?

4) Can you guarantee that the land/company will be marketed to as wide an audience as possible? Will you use a reputable company unconnected to any of the directors to do this?

There's a few to be going on with. If anybody has others or thinks mine can be improved upon please let me know.

500k T trade at 3.56p. I would guess it's this one that's shifted the price today, but there could be some more to come.

Let's hope they keep on up.

Things do seem to have picked up a bit of late, let's hope that's because something is actually happening at last. I'm not going to hold my breath mind you.

There have been a lot of buyers at the 3.75 level over the recent past and no sellers. Unless some shares come into the market soon I cant see this share price staying at this level.
Edit
At 8.21am it was electronically 400k v 12k !

I took a trip down to Poole to see if anything was happening at the two sites under question

The tile factory is still churning out tiles and the outlet shop had no idea about closure of the plant. "Rumoured for forty years" was the reply to my queston.

Sydenhams wood business is still operating. The sheds looked like they were full of planks etc.

No signs of terminations at this stage.

Perhaps i'll give him a call, i'm back in the UK now for the first time in yonks so i'll think up some snesible questions to him.

I'd really like to see this gone soon, i'm getting increasingly worried about the property market. I hope we don't end up selling into a crash, or sitting on the land for years more until prices have recovered.

No but I got an email from the council at last. Basically said that they haven't had a planning application from PIV anf that if I wanted to know more I should contact their advisors.

It looks like somebody bought 750k yesterday, there are signs of life here at last. Surely the price will have to start moving soon too.

Don´t know really John, If you´re in the area I suppose you could have a look to see whether the wood yard is still running. That would clear that up once and for all.
