12/10/2006 17:13 | If anybody is going it would be nice of they could get some answers re our exit strategy. What is it specifically and what sort of timescale do they think we´re looking at. They tell us almost nothing. | arthur_lame_stocks
12/10/2006 16:11 | No , but would appreciate any feedback! | fhmktg
12/10/2006 14:06 | Anyone going to the AGM on Monday? | gombie
09/10/2006 17:36 | Probably best to go to sleep for another 3 years or so. | arthur_lame_stocks
09/10/2006 09:04 | Anybody local to Poole have any update on the planning process and timetable? | fhmktg
28/9/2006 19:09 | mcel101 - Poole Council will keep the old bridge as well. The idea is to only have one open at a time to shipping (mainly leisure these days) to reduce road traffic congestion. One door closes so another opens. Presumably there will be electronic traffic controls to divert traffic one way or the other accordingly. This will also make it more desirable to live on the Hamworthy side by removing frustrating rush hour delays which should enhance property prices - especially those with harbour views. This in turn to be reflected in development land values. | steelwatch
28/9/2006 18:47 | somebody got 3.4p for 25k today. Smallchange. PIV´s site is probably shwon in grey as it is because the picture shows a planning application by Gallagher for the power station site that they own. They don´t own PIV´s site so they´re not likely to put in a planning application for it are they. | arthur_lame_stocks
28/9/2006 17:54 | Surely, with these two planning applications in, the planning people will be urging Poole Inv. to submit their application so that the whole area can be considered together - so perhaps we will see some action in the near future. | huttonr
28/9/2006 17:05 | The proposed new developments appear to be shown in the diagrams above with the pilkington site still as it is...hmmm. | smallchange
28/9/2006 10:19 | I confess I hadn't realised that the new Twin Sails bridge was going to be further to the North than the current bridge adjacent to Pilks: I'd assumed that they would just demolish the old one to put up the new. I would think that's good for us since it means the Pilkington site won't be adjacent to the road noise from the new bridge. | mcel101
28/9/2006 07:42 | No - The pale blue area with industrial buildings south (top left) of the Power station redevelopment is the Pilkingtons site. Sydenhams timber yard is to the east of the Pilkingtons site (off picture). The new Twin Sails Bridge is depicted bottom left entering the northeast corner of the Power Station redevelopment concept drawing. View looking from north - so south is at the top of the picture. | steelwatch
28/9/2006 05:53 | Is that grey bit in the bottom left hand corner us?????????? | hybrasil
28/9/2006 01:10 | Old News - A revised Planning Application has been submitted to the Authority by JJ Gallagher for the 13 hectare disused power station site. Plans to build up to 1315 homes plus community facilities and open space are being considered by the Planning Design and Control Unit. The proposals also include provision for a maritime visitor attraction, retail and commercial units in addition to provision for cafes, bars and restaurants. Due to the complexity and scale of the application and the importance of this site, it is anticipated that it may be some time before a decision is reached. The pale blue area with industrial buildings south (top left) of the Power station redevelopment is the Pilkingtons site. Sydenhams timber yard is to the east of the Pilkingtons site (off picture). The new Twin Sails Bridge is depicted bottom left entering the northeast corner of the Power Station redevelopment concept drawing. more old news - An outline application has been received to develop land currently occupied by Sydenhams. The proposal for the 2 hectare site includes provision for 274 homes and mixed use including commercial, retail and food & drink outlets. Access to the site is from Blandford Road. "subject to the successful completion of developer agreements, this will put the Poole Council in a position to start bridge construction in Spring 2008" source: | steelwatch
27/9/2006 14:11 | Hi Hybrasil Good information thanks - fingers crossed for the planning permission then. Just hold and wait seems to be the best option. Cheers | brendog
27/9/2006 12:40 | Hasn´t shifted the bid any mind you. | arthur_lame_stocks
27/9/2006 11:23 | I see somone has just bought 200k at 3.75p Welcome aboard | hybrasil
26/9/2006 08:08 | Brendog Sorry. Have only just read your post, As to large shareholders Mr. Cicurel has about 14%. A company called ennismore about whom I know nothing hold about 4%. I'll edit these numbers when I find my annual report! My belief that the share price would move upwards (wrong so far) is based on the premis that planning permission is now getting closer. As to a sale the longer that takes the better. That site is an extremly valuable asset and the longer we can afford to sit on it the better. As to your final question I have! | hybrasil
25/9/2006 17:22 | AGM date - Oct 16 | huttonr
25/9/2006 16:52 | When is the AGM? Anybody planning to attend? | fhmktg
21/9/2006 17:31 | Hi Hybrasil dont mean to put a damper on it but 100K is still small beer in value terms You have seen the share register and I remember you saying there was a couple of thousand small shareholders on the list, but are there any other large players other than Peter O'Reilly's 15%. Is it the case that the biggest 10 or 15 shareholders own the bulk of the stock. ? What do you think the real timescales are for the sale and would you buy at the current price ? | brendog
20/9/2006 17:03 | someone took out 100k at the offer price. I would think these will move upwards in the near future. | hybrasil
16/9/2006 07:56 | It does look as if there is beginning to be a bit of interest here. This is now the 2nd time that this has ticked to 3.25p bid. I know the mms hold very little stock. Now that the bridge decision has beeen taken the council will want to get to grips with the landowners. Everyone wants this to happen and they must allow our company to get a decent planning. I anticipate that the share price could really to start to move as the planning progresses. Presumably the local and national builders will start to get interested. | hybrasil
05/9/2006 13:14 | Thanks Hybrasil As with many others I will hold and wait - fingers crossed | brendog
05/9/2006 10:34 | brendog You would merely form part of the barclay nominee account but the unusual thing about this register as opposed to others is the massive amount of private investors. It will be great fun when it comes to a bid situation which I believe will happen. Now if I knew when it would happen!!!! As to your question as to avonmore he is simply undescribable. | hybrasil
05/9/2006 10:17 | It's just a question - whats the problem ? | brendog |
