I don't think this will stay down for long; their production numbers are very good and this was a good addition for them to buy.
They dropped the price because they want you out, not because it's become a sell.

Not far off that - personally v disappointed this has tanked thus far, but Poly does extreme swings in straight up and down moves. You and Sheila'll probably enjoy that Sanks!

This has been sold down the past week or so probably related to Barclays underweight call at 540, the current price. Maybe it will stop now, tho these things have a habit of overplaying, no doubt with help from a few scumbag shorters. It tends not to be a shorters plaything, so I expect this to rebound north soon to 600, its more optimistic zone.

Excellent news re purchase of distressed assets, expanding asset base by 50% for very little cash. Whoever is selling this is absolutely bonkers, no doubt still following barclays out of date 540 target. RBS target of 800 more likely and in any event expect to see these upgraded by several following the morning's presentation

Summed up pretty well by undervalued - this is a good company with a share price suppressed by external factors. In terms of holding / selling, I just cannot see this share price going below 520ish which looks a very solid base.Irritating but unlikely to be any value in selling just now.

I agree but I can't get my head around the political risk and what might happen. Civil war in Ukraine and I feel pretty confident that my other gold investments will go up as everything else falls but with this company the weak rouble would help but I wouldn't feel comfortable owning a company based in Russia if things escalate.

well results were good.

gold production up by 57 % would seem to be the stand out number

And the outlook seems even better to me weak rouble means lowers costs.

sentiment might take this a bit lower but unlike a lot of goldies this company is remains in rude health

Any reason for the recent weakness other than the usual Ukraine/Russia related wobbles. Gold off a touch I see @ $1282-$1283 from last weeks $1300,so an excuse here to trim gold miners.

Any truth to delisting rumour - I heard PolyUS gold was considering.

JPM has sold recently. Is there a suggestion that POLY may delist?

Poly seems to move to different rules to most gold shares but today was perhaps more bizarre than usual. I sometimes wonder if this attracts short term shorting, - nothing that requires reporting above the 0.5 % level but enough to send it down substantially over a day or three.

All you can say about the buy / sell mix is that more people were prepared to take from the offer side than the bid. Yet it fell relentlessly over the day, more than any other gold miner. Whoever was selling was either desperate to clear out or else it was a deliberate ploy to march the share price down. Volume was about twice the average, so I'm thinking it was a forced / couldn't care less seller. Bloody annoying though.

So with massed buying, the share price drifts down 5%. Any reason?
