02/3/2017 14:37 | My holding is with a broker stuffee does your previous advice still stand,or do I just get on with applying for the forms myself | linton5
02/3/2017 14:29 | Lint FYI, I try to clarify the divi value to a UK resident individual.. The gross value of the divi is still 52p. They receive 39p cash after deduction of 13p (25%) Israeli withholding tax. Of this 7.8p (15%) can be set against their UK income tax and 5.2p (10%) can be claimed back in cash from the Israeli Tax Authority. Once you have set up a process for reclaiming the Israeli tax, it's not too difficult for subsequent divis. I assume UK institutional shareholders can also reclaim. | stuffee
02/3/2017 14:25 | yeah it's reclaimable. Not sure if it is for institutions though? just individuals. So funds like odey and stanley might have to pay? | lampran
02/3/2017 14:08 | Are you stating lampran that British shareholders are only getting 39p for divi | linton5
02/3/2017 13:43 | lampran - good point, I'd never even considered the israeli tax. Isn't that at least partially reclaimable? Edit - actually I see it's laid out in the March 2015 RNS. Still not quite clear what eg HL would do on my behalf. | hutch_pod
02/3/2017 11:57 | Sorry o/t Check out Cnct mmm good price to get in | linton5
02/3/2017 11:48 | won't find many buyers picking up because the loss to the business (and market cap) is £0.52 not £0.39, so i'm guessing we won't make much progress today | lampran
02/3/2017 11:48 | sailing john, guessing it's not 408 because of the tax on the dividend. 25% Israeli tax would make real dividend 0.39p a share, which is currently the price it's hovering around. | lampran
02/3/2017 09:19 | Holding nicely! better than I expected | lampran
02/3/2017 08:49 | It is but I'm wanting her lower, I'm ready on the button | linton5
02/3/2017 08:49 | Better than I expected Closed at 461 - theoretical xd price of 408p - currently trading at 424p | sailing john
02/3/2017 08:45 | mmm this still looks firm for me for a big xdiv. Looks cheap for cash machine | pbutterworth1
01/3/2017 20:22 | Morgan and Stanley are really piling up. | welshwizarduk
01/3/2017 17:12 | usually a share with a big div shows some weakness the day before xdiv. today PLUS simply did not do that. There was a very large 3m buy at 1500. Tomorrow will be interesting and might surprise | pbutterworth1
01/3/2017 16:56 | maybe that's too extreme, 390-408 perhaps | lampran
01/3/2017 16:56 | Definitely pile in tomorrow, I'm guessing it could open 380-400 then hopefully will recover throughout the next few weeks leading up to FCA announcement when i'm expecting a bounce | lampran
01/3/2017 16:36 | I think this is a bargain for the long term, pile in tmmw for sure | linton5
01/3/2017 16:21 | Could be right lampran. I expected a fair bit of dumping today in anticipation of it. But currently on blue. Topped up today when it was down 2% so happy to build up more dividends. And topping up with the rises. | welshwizarduk
01/3/2017 16:16 | it's a profit making machine, quite literally, and I it is completely oversold without a doubt | lampran
01/3/2017 16:15 | welshwizarduk, I agree - but I meant just initially. I think it'll overshoot the 52p dividend on opening but will recover in March dramatically. Especially with clarity on FCA issue. My thinking was that dividend strippers and chasers are driving up the price and there will be an exodus tomorrow. I'm hoping so then I can jump back in (sold today) and get a nice discount before it picks up in March !! | lampran
01/3/2017 15:53 | Chart set up for a mmm fall tmmw | linton5
01/3/2017 15:50 | Can't see it lampran. Will obviously drop tomorrow a fair bit going ex dividend and it's big dividend. But see this continuing to rise as it is well oversold and too cheap. Growing fast company with a market cap of around 500 million for a company making around 150 million dollars and turnover of 350 million. Continuing into new markets within a growing sector will more that counter act any legislation in the longer term. | welshwizarduk
01/3/2017 15:16 | Got a feeling Plus might tumble a bit once the dividend is paid, lots holding on in vain probably | lampran
01/3/2017 10:49 | speak too soon pbutterworth1 | lampran
01/3/2017 08:55 | so close to xd share price is much firmer than I expected :-) | pbutterworth1 |
