I have taken Mellon up on his suggestion and changed my plans to go the Master Investment Conference and eyeball Mr Gibson to see how much clarity I can get.

Rather agree with Cube boss ie if this is a necessity people will buy the 20 dose one, but as No excuses says where does this leave Recordati.

Let's get one thing straight here! if you suffer from PE then if you buy a 6 dose can or a 20 dose can, what on Earth is the problem? the wife / girlfriend will say, get your bloody hand in your pocket and sort me out, or that's you and I done!.
Your all looking for problems! and the only problem is, if you suffer from PE you will pay! end of...;0))

Stop moaning and buy as many as you can, if we go to 2p keep buying!! ;0)))

It could be technically quite difficult to make a 6 shot can. The stupidity was developing 20 shot in the first place. At £5 a pop that would sell for £100 which would severely limit uptake. Idiots. Complete lack of proper marketing input at the stage it was needed and a huge price to pay.

What BigBadDaz is really saying is:

I've sold out ...

Which is fair enough but all that writing to explain that when the market doesn't give a monkeys about the opinion of an RI seems like a bit of a waste of effort.

This was done to consider the option to reduce the unit cost of each dispensing unit to a more economical and commercially optimal price point.

That doesn't mean by any stretch of the imagination that 20dose is not commercially viable. The 6 dose would be more profitable though. Its a setback for sure but certainly no need for hysteria pronouncing the company is finished.

If this is a wonder drug then that's not going to stop it. It will get taken out by a bigger company. If its not so great then it would not have succeeded anyway and we bought in to a duff company.

Having read yesterday's RNS again I can't help but think it spells game over for PLE.

If the problem with the 6 dose canister is not rectified, and quickly, then I seriously doubt the success of the company.

Prior to issueing yesterdays RNS and the news regarding the 6 dose canister, the companies would have made attempts to rectify the problems they were experiencing.

These attempts have obviously failed.

Therefore there are no guarantees that a solution will be found and the problem resolved, and personally I believe they would have already given this their best shot.

So where has this left PLE .......

With no option to reverse strategy and launch the 20 dose canister, which previously they made a decision this was not commercially viable !

I am afraid for me the writing on the wall is clear.

I am of the opinion they will not be able to resolve the issue with the 6 dose canister and will therefore lose the opportunity to secure marketing partners.

To launch the 20 dose canister, which they currently have no other option, will cost money, which imo PLE shareholders will have to fund, I expect they will raise further equity to pay for the launch.

How successful will the 20 dose canister be ? ......

I would guess not very successful, if the company thought it would be why have we been attempting to produce a 6 dose canister !

The investment and potential has changed overnight due to the contents of the latest RNS.

BOD have failed to maximise the potential this product once had !

I think pricing / product size does have an impact on sales. Hence why retailers are always reformatting their products these days. The 20 shot canister is going to be quite pricey - particularly for a new product no-one has tried before.

Al H I totally agree. However, the Recordati deal is based on the 6 dose can and other deals, flagged up by the board, are also based on the 6 dose can. If the 6 dose can cannot now be done then where do we stand on the current licensing deals? If these deals come to an end, how are we going to finance and bring the 20 dose can to market? The board needs to explain and clarify these significant issues.

Well if the 20 dose sells regardless, what's the problem ? If the stuff works people will pay for it given it's potential benefits. Revenues are revenues regardless of the can size.

Why is it the long term shareholders get kicked in the balls time after bloody time while the short term vultures fly off with quick riches? Thought all this stuff was behind us? For what good it's worth, I'll be on the phone to the company at my earliest opportunity, not because it will do any good but because it's my right as an investor to register my disapproval and look out when it comes to the agm!Mellon, you've screwed up here

I am of the opinion our BOD would have known about the situation and problem with the 6 dose canister some time ago.

To release the news in the fashion they have today ( small snippet amongst other news ) shows me how the BoD have failed us PI's. What a cowardly way of realising the news to the market.

Jim Mellon has imo no respect or even a second thought for PI's who have invested here in his company.

His tweet stinks of arrogance imo.

I appreciate the value of shares can go down as well as up and there are no guarantees.

But we are not even on a level playing field, we have no chance here when our own BoD deliberately, imo, do not disclose the bad news in regards the 6 dose canister until a time that suits them and their own agenda's.

I am not going to quote aim rules as it doesn't take long to look them up if anyone so wishes, but I am of the opinion the rules have been disregarded here by Jim and Co.

Not that it matters to Jim. Even if he were to receive a small fine, what does he care.

I am not peed off by the fact that I have made the decision to sell out at a huge lose, but by the total disregard to us PI's by Jim Mellon, someone who some investors respect and look up to.

I no longer have any respect for the man, and therefore the main reason I have sold !

The old adage rings true here today-"If you can't take any possible pain that will happen to a stock, don't invest a penny of your hard earned cash"

On another note this Co is now looking like it is run by a load of donkeys!!
..with the biggest one the Member on BOD that thought up the Loan Note scenario.

So promising a Co and really doubting this one now.
(that is AIM market for you which really is the "Wild West")
