06/12/2016 10:04 | Playtech should have stuck to the gambling / gaming software & services business in which they are dominant. Never understood why they wanted to move into retail CFD trading (now trying to dress it up as a B2B business with recent acquisition). Even the B2B side will suffer if the regulators are clamping down on retail CFD businesses - lower volumes etc. Core gambling / gaming business is sound but acquisition of TradeFX from Sagi I think will prove to be a mistake and an unnecessary distraction. | dennislevine
06/12/2016 09:37 | I thought the drop was down to new FCA reg today on CFD providers. The main restriction is on caps to leverage & aggressive advertising. IGG & PLUS are getting hammered this morning but in reality I doubt it will effect the bottom line of either. | henryatkin
06/12/2016 09:29 | Yes, it's to do with CFD's. Apparently this kicked off in Cyprus over a week ago. lol. | philo124
06/12/2016 08:53 | They own markets.com, which is not regulated by FCA but is regulated so it will have an effect on PTEC. All the best | toyin
06/12/2016 08:51 | Agree...IGG are down 20% from their recent high & CMC are down 35%. | henryatkin

05/12/2016 18:58 | Playtech has a development team in Romania. You would not need to look too hard to find stories of corruption in Romania, including the police as the article suggests.Over the years Playtech has worked at withdrawing operations from unregulated markets. Some of the allegations seem far fetched even for Sagi. | nod |
