KK,a lifetime ago Cornhill tried to lure me into PMCI but I escaped their avaricious attempts and TUed into the Explorer instead. If the truth be told her indoors decided PMCI looked too risky......

Yes, some peeps that sold earlier may not know, that SPI, despite saying they would not, then went ahead and compulsory purchased the remaining shares. So much for me holding on and prefering to flush down the toilet!! If you had agreed earlier under section 429 then you get your money in 14 days.....SPI's right was exercised on the 7th Feb deadline, i phoned on 21st to be told by end of Feb, now today been told as I missed the first acceptance it was now a 430 and there was no time span, prob looking at end of March! Told Hoodless this couldnt be right, there must be some time span still attached or they could just keep my money forever....after bloody nicking them that would be salt in the wound.

Snap-who you with as it sounds like u didnt accept till the end but you have your money?

Will we, finally, see some movement on developing the mine?

Platinum Mining says FY pretax loss widens to 1.01 mln stg

LONDON (AFX) - Platinum Mining Corp of India PLC, which maintains its
independent AIM listing after being taken over late last year by SPI Partners
Ltd, a subsidiary of Sun Trade (International) Ltd, reporteed a full year pretax
loss of 1.01 mln stg, widening from 943,033 stg a year ago.
The company said that during the year there has been no significant progress
in developing the Boula mine project in the eastern Indian state of Orissa as
the hostile takeover from SPI and a series of changes to the composition of the
board severely disrupted the company's activities.
However, Platinum Mining said it expects a full commitment to the Boula mine
project from share price will bring a new impetus to the development of the Boula mine.

On 28 September 2006, Montrose Partners LLP ("Montrose Partners") announced a

I'm sure your comments can be substantiated, so why not share it? By not supporting your statement it has no more logic than the person walking around oxford street with a banner stating the end of the world is nigh.
Obviously you have to look after your own investment first but isnt it nice to share if you have some other info which may help fellow investors, although it sounds like there are only 3 of us left! :>)

If you are unsure why not accept 50% of your holding and take a risk with the other 50%. No advice intended, just an option you may not have thought about.

Also, KK > don't normally go on ADVFN in the evening, watching champions leage instead.

Cheers SD

KK > Yes i'm going to take the risk. Sun group seem to have the resources to be able to get things moving and if they are true to their word, a big if, and don't delist, we could see some upward movement when they finally announce the results of the drilling.

I wouldn't trust anything that's written about what's going on too much. They can de-list if they choose to, the fact that they are waving a carrot infront of us is nothing more than that

SPI does not intend to delist:

SPI has decided that even if sufficient acceptances are received by 1.00pm (London time)
on 8 December 2006 it does not intend to (i) acquire compulsorily the remaining
PMCI Shares to which the Offer relates or (ii) procure the making of an
application by PMCI to the London Stock Exchange for the cancellation of the
admission of PMCI Shares to trading on AIM. Accordingly, if PMCI Shareholders
wish to remain as shareholders in PMCI they may do so and SPI will endeavour,
subject to the rules of AIM, to ensure that the listing of PMCI on AIM is
maintained.
