The count, hope you don't mind if I ask some questions.

Was any mention given about the following passage from the circular?

"SHOULD ALL OF RESOLUTIONS 1, 2 AND 3 BE PASSED AT THE EGM, CONSIDERATION WILL
NEED TO BE GIVEN BY THE COMPANY AND ITS ADVISERS AS TO THE COMPANY'S ONGOING
APPROPRIATENESS TO REMAIN A COMPANY WITH ITS SECURITIES ADMITTED TO TRADING ON
AIM."

All three were passed so I'm guessing the topic of losing the nomad and a potential delisting must have come up.

Apart from Newberry and crew did you get any indication from other (large) holders, if present, of how they voted and how they view the board changes? If they are making arrangement for analysts like you say, then at least their indication is to remain a listed company rather than try and take it private or accept the delisting - did you get that impression?

What exactly did Newberry pinpoint as the failings? Much of the delays and general agro seems to be as a direct result of his agitator style behaviour, or so the management say. And finally, as a person, what did you make of Newberry, saint or sinner?

No position, but have been loosely following story.

hopefully WH Ireland wont need to do anything and the new guys will actually start working together to try and get the metal out of the ground - there has been a cloud over PMCI ever since Newbery was kicked out, he had control over too many shares to just leave quietly and seems he has finally got his way

Platinum Mining Corporation of India plc ("the Company")

Extraordinary General Meeting
Further Notification

1 June 2006

Background

As was announced on 20 April 2006, the directors of the Company (together the
"Board") received a notice from Dr Steven Newbery, a shareholder and former
director of the Company, requiring them to convene an extraordinary general
meeting of the Company to consider and vote upon Resolutions 1, 2 and 3 as set
out below ("EGM"). The EGM will be held on 2 June 2006 at 10.00 a.m. at the
Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED.

On 8 May 2006, the Company sent a circular to shareholders which included a
notice of the EGM and recommendations of the Board in relation to the following
Resolutions (the "Circular"):

1 that Robert Weinberg be removed as a director of the Company;

2 that Vijay Tandon be appointed as a director of the Company;

3 that Patrick Gorman be removed as a director of the Company; and

4 that the Board be granted authority to allot up to GBP26,345 of ordinary
shares pursuant to section 80 of the Companies Act 1985.

In the Circular, the Board recommended unanimously (with Dr Robert Weinberg and
Mr Patrick Gorman abstaining with regard to Resolutions 1 and 3 respectively)
that shareholders of the Company vote against Resolutions 1, 2 and 3 (as
proposed by Dr. Newbery) and vote for Resolution 4.

Changes to the voting intentions and recommendations of the executive directors

Since the publication of the Circular, Mr Malcolm Groat and Mr Umesh Sahdev,
both of whom are executive directors of the Company, have met with Mr Vijay
Tandon. Following this meeting, Messrs Groat and Sahdev have indicated to the
Board that they now intend to vote in favour of Resolution 2 above and that they
recommend other shareholders to do the same in respect of this Resolution.

In addition, Mr Sahdev has now indicated that he will vote for Resolutions 1 and
3 above and that he recommends other shareholders to do the same in respect of
these Resolutions.

Neither Dr Robert Weinberg, acting chairman and non-executive director of the
Company, nor Mr Patrick Gorman, acting chief executive and non-executive
director, have had an opportunity to meet Mr Tandon. Accordingly the voting
intentions and recommendations of Dr Weinberg and Mr Gorman in respect of
Resolution 2 above remain as stated in the Circular.

All other voting intentions and recommendations of the Board remain as stated in
the Circular.

This notification should be read in conjunction with the Circular. If you are
in any doubt as to the action you should take, you are recommended to seek your
own personal financial advice from your stockbroker, solicitor, accountant or
independent financial adviser authorised pursuant to the Financial Services and
Markets Act 2000.

Coco the clown would do a better job of running this company.

All current directors should resign and the funds should appoint their own directors to try and get some value back into the comapny.
