Mada

your right, but they can only fall a defined distance (0 pence, NAV 6-7p) they can however go up to an unknown price. There is many an Aim share that goes up over 100% and I can only hope for myself that this is one of them. Perhaps I can cash in my shares and by a baseball bat to visit the management to persuade them to get on with business.

With a share price going down, patience is a virtue. prices can fall much further and longer than you think.

don't beat yourself up. I don't always get it right - or I would be on a sunkissed beach.. etcetc.

At present it looks like shareholders are just gettting out at any cost. I think (rather know) I posted a target price at which it WILL be dirt cheap and a steal.. and it looks like we may be on our way there.

When it gets there I will buy a significant number of shares...and wait for either 1. some actual action to get value from directors or 2. a takeover.

AT present though it's not many words and even less action...

To: Madasafish - please accept a humble apology from myself as your TA proved itself correct, in the end. Anyway trust you are still monitoring for the right re-entry point?

Holding this stock has been an absolute disaster, so far. Strange happenings with the management team before and after the recent AGM. Does anyone know what on earth is going on here?

They have a prime product - everyone knows the platinum is there in the ground yet, to date, the powers that be have made a total hash of the whole mining project. Delayed announcements, sackings, reinstatements, re-re-arranged AGM's and so on.....

AN ABSOLUTE DSIGRACE!

Looks more like the ex-management have taken over - according to Argus Vickers S Newbery holds 22.3% of the stock, R Newbery owns 7.3% and L Pickering holds 7.3%. Doesn't take many more votes to take control, particularly if the other side does not realise that it is an issue.

Worth looking back to last June when the company fired S Newbery and L Pickering for dishonesty.

Where does this leave WH Ireland?

thanks.
Hard luck. But a profit is still a profit.
Lesson 1. In all new uptrends, there is a high chance of a retracement of 62% of the entire move. There there is smaller chance of a 100% retracement.
2. You don't know a trend after a series of falls is an uptrend until you see a higher low .. after the retracement

As the argument is rather chicken and egg, I ALWAYS take profits if I do buy the first rally..Then if it starts going up again, I can always buy back in again.

You may miss out on some of the move, but who cares? A profit is virtually guaranteed. Or losses minimised.

When a share is in an established up trend, then you may decide to hold through the retracements when and at what price they are likely to happen.
.. especially if you don't know when and at what price they are likely to happen.

Of course, if you know when and where a retracement is likely, then you have cracked it and will become rich:-))

I'll let you know the latter before I emigrate....

well that's my 25k sell coming through.
don't want to sit through the drawn out recruitment process and inflated wage demands in this instance.

Madas, I doff my cap to you (and make a mental note to self) I'm walking away with £90 profit here when i should have taken the £900. live & learn.
this still has huge potential upside, it's the other way I'm worried about.
best of luck all.
