30/7/2010 00:42 | Quarterly Report ... should soon run out of potholes and, ... Smokey Hills does not use the bord and pillar mining method. Kalahari DFS to be released .. should be released ... Septemberish ... cash burn $A6m and cash of $A12m. They are estimating slightly higher costs for next quarter but hopefully the 'anticipated' ramp up in production will counteract that. | piedro
27/7/2010 13:04 | I in theory hold platinum australia. However the paperwork from Australia was slow to arrive so I cannot sell at present | clive1
20/7/2010 00:14 | South Africa Clarifies Mine Safety `Misunderstanding,' to Assess Each Case By Carli Lourens - Jul 19, 2010 South Africa, the world's biggest platinum producer, said it cleared "misunderstandings" about a safety directive affecting mines in the platinum-rich North West province in a meeting with Anglo Platinum Ltd., Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd., Xstrata Plc and Aquarius Platinum Ltd. today. "The mine health and safety inspectorate clarified that the instruction wasn't for companies to stop mining," Department of Mineral Resources spokesman Jeremy Michaels said by mobile phone today. It was "for those mines that do not have bord widths of six meters (20 feet) to present their safety measures to the principal inspector," he said. Safety measures will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, Michaels said. ... ... ... | piedro

14/7/2010 12:22 | It looks like Barclays sold all my PLAA without my authorisation. | doshdabbler

07/7/2010 13:39 | Piedro A bit of a delayed response to your query, but the figures do seem to relate to the quarterly results: over 81%, 8,30Ozs, 101,000 tonnes. The only possible query is that tonnage below is milled where as above it states production, but it maybe the 72,238 underground production was augmented by some remaining surface production, or the graph should state milled in reference to the tonnage. Processing The ramp up of the plant throughput was hindered by the lack of production from underground, with 101,212 tonnes milled for the quarter. Recoveries increased from 58% in the December quarter to over 81% in the current quarter as a result of the majority of ore treated coming from underground production with the balance of less than 10% coming from open pit stockpiles. The head grade was lower than the previous quarter at 3.13 g/t 4E due to the higher percentage of underground development ore treated during the quarter. The decreased throughput and head grade was only partially offset by the increase in recovery, resulting in production dropping to 8,300 ozs 4E PGM The combined affect of these factors saw underground production drop to 72,238 tonnes for the quarter compared with 160,000 tonnes in the previous quarter. | sammu
01/7/2010 13:01 | I see the price of sllling the 500,000 was 32 ! If UK adopted the OZ system and no MMs, there would have been much bigger volume and no need to delist as seemns to happen often with these dual listed stocks . Surprising that any aussie company would apply for a UK AIM listing ! | arja
01/7/2010 10:50 | surprise surprise, spread widened to 4p ! MMs are real pickpockets ! anybody selling here today would be foolish unless they can get about 37.5p or they think the share price in OZ will drop about 4 cents or more before they get the new scrip . | arja
01/7/2010 10:18 | sg, hotcopper.com.au has several seasoned investors. Don't worry about the loss of this BB. Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to being done with AIM. | doshdabbler
01/7/2010 09:05 | I usually just get it from the ASX site.I just wondered if this BB would become redundant without the UK listing.I can't see there being many UK holders when they delist. I cant remember the last time Maximoney posted. | sg31
01/7/2010 09:00 | sg31, I think you can get ASX chart through "www.netquote.com.au | arja |
