05/9/2008 14:46 | Some seem to think that PLM is worth more than 0.25p. recently a buy at 0.45. Can't believe it! Shareholders equity 31/3/2008: 23 million GBP Raised 10 million in april 2008, let's say that's all gone. Then still 23 million shareholders equity dividend by 221 million shares still some 10p per share. And the losses that can be carry forward for tax purposes must be in tens of millions that must have worth too. Recently shares issued at 10p, bookvalue 10p and they're offering 0.25p ???? | greedfear
05/9/2008 11:19 | sorry to here that. my average is at 0.9p now but will still lose a couple of k's if 0.25p (or bust). | greedfear
05/9/2008 11:12 | i bought at 40p only 99% down | brando69
05/9/2008 10:54 | Hmmm.. different stories aren't they? the approach was at a net price of at least 0.25 pence a share payable in cash at a net price payable to shareholders of not more than 0.25 pence in cash per share | greedfear
05/9/2008 10:40 | As a shareholder I rather they go bust and the directors loose there jobs then take .25p from someone. kammi | kammi1
05/9/2008 10:34 | You're out. I've added. Worth the gamble 30%-40% loss if the deal at 0.25p goes trough. If some other player steps up the plate? Who knows 2p, 3p, 5p? Just last april they issued shares at 10p (10 million GBP), that's only 5 months ago. And now some vulture says: lets make a deal I give you shareholders 0.5 million GBP. | greedfear
05/9/2008 10:24 | I'm out. What a sorry story this has been. | aquilla
05/9/2008 10:15 | Plasmon need to move with the times. They are not competing with anyone seriously. | mikey_b
05/9/2008 10:14 | Not quite yet. If you were a Plasmon competitor (EMC, HP, Quantum) would you consider buying the lot for 500,000+ in order to integrate (or eliminate) Plasmon? Or would you just watch and see how someone bought Plasmon for 500k and let Plasmon stay in business, maybe becoming a (new) threat? | greedfear
05/9/2008 10:06 | game over i would think. | cyberpost
05/9/2008 10:04 | Looks like another case of Directors looking after themselves , what utter incompetance, how did they ever convince anyone to invest ???? | jotoha1
05/9/2008 10:04 | Senator, completely agree. I am sure that TA is being looked after. Never had a 99% loss before. We live and learn. | ravenna23
05/9/2008 10:00 | Are these guys for real? Do they really think they can pay shareholders approx 500,000 and that's it? There must be sone other party interested offering something better. Otherwise...let's go bust! Let these guys start up their own business, see if they can manage that for 500k... OUTLOOK The overall archive storage market is forecast to grow rapidly from $9 billion in 2007 to $23 billion by 2010. | greedfear
05/9/2008 09:53 | What a crooked bunch. Once again, the Shareholder is left with a worthless piece of paper to wipe his ar$e with. | senator
05/9/2008 09:30 | Timtom2, no the directors were aware that sales were 20% down, however they held on till the last possible legal moment i.e. 08/08/08 as they had hoped to secure funding before the forced announcement | ravenna23
05/9/2008 09:30 | Maybe now they have an initial(albeit poor)approach, others can now put a fairer price on the business. | gluefactory
05/9/2008 09:23 | current selling price well above the offer of 0.25p at the moment...think this will work it's way down further when the mm's realise this! | pre
05/9/2008 09:21 | ohhhh...almost bought yesterday at 1.2p....a bit of good fortune for once.!!! | topinfo
05/9/2008 09:21 | Was there ever any onfo to this effect on the public domain - bank covenants are serious. | timtom2
05/9/2008 09:20 | Nothing to do with having a totally flawed business then, cute. | mikey_b
05/9/2008 08:36 | Spoke to Tim Aurthur a couple of weeks ago, said that due to bank covenants had to repay debt, which is why they are short on cash. | ravenna23
05/9/2008 08:03 | Oh well, that will teach me. £0.0025p - cah injection for major restructuring - what the fXXX have they been doing with the money 'til now. Why not approach UK based private equity too? Sounds like they need more than 2 x qtrs oney and have been telling us less than the whole truth imho. | timtom2
05/9/2008 07:47 | what a shambles | andrbea
05/9/2008 07:33 | ,25p is the offer. | binladin |
