Research & Development Platform and Pipeline Presentation

Plant Impact plc (AIM: PIM), a leader in research and development in crop enhancement products that growers can rely on to improve the yield and quality of crops, is pleased to publish the first presentation on its research and development ("R&D") platform and pipeline. The full presentation can be found at

www.plantimpact.com/investors

The Group's R&D platform is highly differentiated within the emerging crop enhancement sector and is focused on bringing products to market over the next 5 years, with the first pipeline product expected to launched by 2020. The platform begins with an understanding of key yield-limiting physiological and biochemical plant responses. It then prioritises soybean and wheat as model dicot and monocot crops to enable future diversification into other crops such as cotton and corn, and utilises novel synthetic and small molecule chemistry. This methodology generates targeted foliar and seed treatment products.

The R&D presentation sets out the following:

-- Industry - the case for crop enhancement and the current landscape
-- Business - structure and history (with an R&D focus)
-- Research and technology - platform design, screening process and the case for chemistry
-- Pipeline and products - pipeline stages, case studies and focus areas
-- Markets - activity overviews and case studies for key markets

-- Financial model - corporate value streams, indicative peak annual sales opportunity for pipeline products and an explanation of revenue streams included/excluded from external guidance

-- Market estimates (appendix) - methodology used to estimate the indicative market sizes for R&D focus areas

Plant Impact believes that crop enhancement will grow to be a significant sector within the chemical and biological farming inputs market, playing a key role in sustainably improving food security worldwide by using new technologies to help growers improve global crop yields.

John Brubaker, CEO, said: "Growth and innovation in the crop enhancement sector is accelerating more rapidly than ever before and at Plant Impact we are proud to be at the forefront of R&D advances in synthetic and small molecule chemistry. This is our first R&D presentation; it establishes a new level of clarity on our pipeline and it will be updated regularly. I would like to thank our shareholders for their continued support."
