Well Done to PIP:

Turnover for the year ended 30 June 2013 was £5.2m (2012: £3.3m)
The Group incurred a loss after taxation for the year of £1,932,000 (2012: profit £28,000. This is due to impairing £2,520,000 of research and development expenditure, which had no cash effect. Accordingly, the Group achieved an adjusted profit, as adjusted for amortisation and impairment of intangible fixed asset, in the year ended 30June 2013 of £588,000

So in essence the Company actually made a profit of £588k (2012 £28k)

Cash in Bank £383k (2012 £189k)

Understand that the Company owes £3.8m. At least its better than share placing etc and Director is supporting the Company this way.

Nothing yesterday or today so far, HMMMMM?
With hindsight it would have been better to reproduce the entire though brief message sent to me on Tues 29th Oct as there was a "due to be" in there and "next" can be a possible cause of confusion;

Dear Mr Gxxxxxxx
Our results are due to be announced next Monday.
Yours sincerely
Gordon Watt

Sent from my iPhone

So the idea that they are waiting to make an announcement and not just adding up the numbers might be true.

The results were announced on 22 Oct last year. The delay this year is slightly disturbing - on the other hand, the share price suggests good news. Could they be holding back to include an additional announcement? The only two things that matter in the short term at PIP are continued progress at QM and reducing the substantial cash outflow on the Ground Probing Radar equipment development. An increase in infrastucture spending will help GPR. In the longer term, it will either be a process of attrition to reduce the borrowings or, with luck, an injection of capital from the sale of the GPR equipment division.

Most of the research in the header was stored within a compact 'scroll box', but since ADVFN removed the code for scroll boxes there's a lot of out-dated stuff which is spewed all down the header and needs to be scrolled through to reach new messages. Also, there's a lot of the content in the header (images and links) which are broken.

I stopped monitoring this thread a few years ago, but I'll pop back in a week and if there are more YES votes than NO votes then I'll remove the long header and reinstate the default charts, news and fundamental data.

Vote YES to delete the header.
Vote  NO to leave things as they are.

So where are those results? Remember that there are huge debts to clear, so even if there is the usual surge following decent results it will almost certainly fall back when people take a closer look.
Fingers crossed.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I presume mid October for results and several divisions appear to be performing well (reading the last results update). More buying today..

Not at all upset and really pleased to hear from someone after 6 months. I help to keep the BB-alive on II-BB as HP so regard any post as useful.
Do you have a date for the results and do you have any thoughts on which of their activities might show a meaningful profit?

If you look at the share price over the last few years you will see that a bit of good news causes the share price to rise considerably and then people look at the debt/loans from directors to the company etc, and it is clear that any recovery in the share price will be a long slow process. I am losing a lot on this investment and have no real hope of recovering that loss, but if you know of any good news then please let me hear it..... or are you just keeping the BB alive?

Seen worse KNIGEL but they need some kind of cash generation to reduce the liabilities here, looks like nothing has been reduced in the period.
