A patent will not add any huge sum to the value of the company at this point in time but they might have turned the finial corner after many years of finding their niche in the market. The IoT is where the future growth is coming from but it could take a few companies to consolidate to really take advantage of the potential imo.

Today's news will bring hope and with luck holders will start to see the share price start to rise if they can make use of it.

How long now before a consolidation and another placing?

Trading starts tomorrow in the new shares and there will be in excess of 187 million shares in total.

Yet another fundraising but was it really for just £1M? They normally lose that much in a year! Not holding here but still frustrated as this should have been a good business but I can't understand why it has never once made a profit, that's enough to keep me away!

EDIT: Sorry, just noticed their forecast loss this year is "only" £900K so this latest fundraising might just about cover it!

Done well to get them away at that level, however the business is not in good order and the way they talk about MOST months being EBITDA positive does not give me much confidence. Debt up and not a word about the value of orders on the books. All they continue to talk about is ONE installation at RBS which is old news.
This is likely to go the same way as all the previous funds that have been raised repeatedly.
When they sink to 1p they might be worth a punt as a takeover target.

This could have potential with a new CEO. James McKenzie is rubbish. I've lost count of the number of times he's said they'll be "EBITDA positive over the next six months" and his strategy is all over the place.

Good RNS today but designed to improve the share price before a possible fund raising imo. Great news if they were able to muddle it out without the need for more dilution but I doubt it as this is just another costly conference of ideas rather than solid sales.

I am interested in knowing whether anyone is following this stock?

Just re read the last RNS and believe RBS is a good start on something commercial rather than just technical development. RBS seem to have some 700 branches and presumably have to do an energy audit and it will pay them to reduce their CO2 - could PSL be the answer?

Halcyon seems to be a possible game changer - but would love to hear from someone more knowledgeable!!!

Not the case buggy, I follow a large number of companies and do a lot of research, and it is always a case of trying to get ones time right but that is not always the case as with LWRF which as you know I have said I am underwater on.However I have confidence in the directors and product but as a former investor here (having come out on the right side) I am of the view that the directors are the problem, not the product.

If they resolve some of the issues that my research has shown I will re-invest.Todays RNS looks like another attempt to push up the share price nothing more imo.

Thanks for the Link , interesting article but the problem here is that they must be very very short of cash and seem to have no regard or respect for small stakeholders if you read back on this thread, there are those who posted a number of comments about the way their enquires were responded too in the past. So however good the products, the management running the business are not fit for purpose it would seem as they have raised money on various occasions but fail to make profits or retain value for investors, in addition to counting their chickens when a contract is awarded.

A world-first QUT study revealing light exposure plays a role in the weight of preschool children has been published by international research journal PLOS ONE.

PhD student Cassandra Pattinson and colleagues Simon Smith, Alicia Allan, Sally Staton and Karen Thorpe studied children aged three to five, from six Brisbane childcare centres. At time 1, they measured children's sleep, activity and light exposure for a two week period, along with height and weight to calculate their BMI, then followed up 12-months later

"At time 1, we found moderate intensity light exposure earlier in the day was associated with increased body mass index (BMI) while children who received their biggest dose of light -- outdoors and indoors -- in the afternoon were slimmer," said Ms Pattinson of the Environmental Light Exposure is Associated with Increased Body Mass in Children study.

"At follow-up, children who had more total light exposure at Time 1 had higher body mass 12 months later. Light had a significant impact on weight even after we accounted for Time 1 body weight, sleep, and activity.

"Around 42 million children around the globe under the age of five are classified as overweight or obese so this is a significant breakthrough and a world-first.

"Artificial lighting, including light given off by tablets, mobile phones, night lights, and television, means modern children are exposed to more environmental light than any previous generation. This increase in light exposure has paralleled global increases in obesity."

The research team is from QUT's Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation and the Centre for Children's Health Research

Ms Pattinson said it is known the timing, intensity and duration of exposure to both artificial and natural light have acute biological effects in mammals.

"The circadian clock -- also known as the internal body clock -- is largely driven by our exposure to light and the timing of when that happens. It impacts on sleep patterns, weight gain or loss, hormonal changes and our mood," Ms Pattinson said

"Factors that impact on obesity include calorie intake, decreased physical activity, short sleep duration, and variable sleep timing. Now light can be added to the mix."

Ms Pattinson said the next step was to figure out how the research can be used in the fight against obesity in children.

"We plan to conduct further studies with pre-schoolers and also infants," she said.

"Animal studies have shown that timing and intensity of light exposure is critical for metabolic functioning and weight status. Our findings suggest that the same applies to us.

"This research suggests that exposure to different types of light (both artificial and natural) at different times now needs to be part of the conversation about the weight of children."

Cannot be long now before the begging bowl comes out imo. Can they even raise any further funds or will it be a case of being packaged up and sold?

More twaddle that just seems to be trying to raise the share price upwards again, as I guess they must be getting desperate for cash, as they I suspect they have been hit more than they care to disclose by the last events and what has clearly been mismanagement of the resources over a long period of time imp.
