Clarification of Investment Restrictions
Phaunos Timber Fund Limited hereby clarifies its investment restrictions in respect of investment in other investment companies or investment trusts which are listed on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority (the "Official List").
No more than 10 per cent. in aggregate of the value of the gross assets of the Company may be invested in other listed closed-ended investment funds, except for those which themselves have stated investment strategies to invest no more than 15 per cent. of their gross assets in other listed closed-ended investment funds.
Additionally, the Company will itself not invest more than 15% of its gross assets in other investment companies or investment trusts which are listed on the Official List.

The Company is a Guernsey-domiciled authorised closed-ended investment scheme authorised by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission under section 8 of The Protection of Investors (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 1987 (as amended) and the Authorised Closed-ended Investment Schemes Rules 2008 made thereunder.
Its ordinary shares are listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. Its investment objective is to provide shareholders with attractive long term total returns, expected to be in the form of capital appreciation but with some income, through a diversified portfolio of timberland and timber-related investments.
