Back where we were before the share price (bid 6.75p) was taken down to shake out the nervous holders, now the fun begins IMO

I wonder if there will be another opportunity to sell at 9p and buy back at 7p?
Not that I did the last time (:¬()

Bambo1 'Remember this is Russia we are dealing with.'

Actually I think it's the perception of Russia we are dealing with.

The West has lost the plot. They seem to think Russia is the enemy of the world, not N Korea, and that Trump is an evil dictator worst than Kim Jong-un.

lol, so you are saying it is cheap and therefore not looking good - I completely agree. That's why I bght in it has massive value and is extremely under valued.

My looking good comment referred to the price action, how the share price / volume was reacting a few days before a major announcement and in addition, how the share price has behaved previously (this sharp spike down, just before a large rise up has happened before - always are great clue to what is likely in the future IMO). Not guaranteed to do again of course just looking good!

Wally, I'm starting to believe again......With IRC what would appear to be financially secure and not about to collapse heaping debt on POG, with K&S ramping up nicely to full production, with the Amur river bridge nearly completed things are positively rosey....Still, with IRC, POG still have close to $1bln in debt liabilities. Not out of the woods just yet....POX to come as well as underground. Should be an interesting update/end of year.

lol, sure bambo I am deluded. Not long to wait to find out. Lets talk again next Wednesday after the results etc

In deed the below link, shows every gold mining company in the world. I challenge you to find one that:

1) Has a mkt cap within 5 x that of POG's and
a) Has gold production any where near POG's
b) does not have a substantial debt too
c) has the near term potential to increase production 1-2 years that POG has.

Then I might agree with your comments. Until that time, I will continue to believe POG is substantially under valued and will be rerated sometime soon.

wallywoo,

I'm pleased you think that things are looking good, but I'm not sure I know which planet you are living on!

Bid Price is all over the place but has been rising steadily over the last few days. Now 6.48p. Looking good IMO

P.S. There have been no updates to the Company's Major Shareholder Data for some time now. The .pdf on POG's website is current 'as at 28 December 2016':

ShortTracker still has no shorts above 0.5% listed:

So despite the recent high volume (Monday 20th March), there's no published change in the major shareholder/short data yet.

Yep, and IRC: can IRC become self supporting? I suspect we'll now have to wait until the next biannual IRC debt payment is due (around 20 June 2018) to find out. If IRC makes the payment without recourse to selling shares, raising debt, restructuring debt, etc. - basically if they pay it without any drama - then we might see some small upward movement in the share price here.

The noises coming out of IRC are good and positive sounding: but they need to demonstrate that they can make money and meet their debt obligations for POG to rise.

So it's still a waiting game IMHO.

Going by the movement of the share price recently there will be very little good new on the horizon as the market makers always seem to know before any official announcement.

I think the debt will remain the crippling factor for some time to come.

Company updates coming on the 29th March, just 1 week away. IMO you would be mad to sell before then. Personally, I am expecting good news on Net Debt, underground mining and a decent 2016 profit with more to come in 2017.

But POG have disappointed a number of times, but at this price they are by far the cheapest mid sized gold miner out there.

Based on price action of late it looks to me like someone wants you to sell shares - but not to buy...WDIK of course and just my opinion etc. etc.. Those who got in in the high fives should be high fiving - 'cause it seems likely to have been perfect timing....
Best of luck to all holders...

I'm thinking it was the hedge in offering that caused the share price to tank.

Any miner going for a sizeable hedge at this juncture with the gold price on take off is stoopid

MNT, don't agree that the hedge has ruined and chance of rise due to higher gold prices. It's over two years and secure's the future of POX and the company. No extra borrowing required and no additional pressure on finances. POG can also take advantage of any rise in gold price with other production...
