Steelwatch I believe few ppl referring to last rns...it stated 'later this month' I've said many times,if, they can not meet their promises/wordings, don't put it in the rns! Yes it's not a strict deadline but steel that's is not the point some are making. Looks like this is slowly trickling to placing value again. 2 days left I guess. Dbharon where are you?!

'The Arbuzovskoye 106 well is drilling ahead at more than 2,000 metres depth and is expected to be completed later this month', Dennis Francis, Chief Executive Officer of PetroNeft on October 14th. There is no date stated but a timeframe is indicated and we are now at the close of the month, investors await the RNE.If it not released they wonder whats the delay. normal though process but it goes with the industry there id often delays. however, i think this on will be on time.

No targets stated. Some may like to create the impression of target dates and then complain bitterly when these imaginary targets aren't hit. I wonder why!

taget date I guess, they suggested they we just above the reservoir last month so there should be no delays. unless the flow is erratic and they try to stabilize it before an announcement.

That is a good size trade spudders, although I would have thought that would affect the London market more than the Irish. Could be wrong though. Cheers for the feedback.

Dan, a 500k trade on ISDX today maybe the issue.

😄 thanks for the info spudders. Still surprised the equivalent price on the ISE is so much higher at circa 7p though.

Dan111, that's my fault broker moving shares from trading acc to isa, done now. I had to wait until price was depressed. Let's hope next results are good 😉

Seems very strange that the share price is down in London, yet up quite strongly in Ireland. The current Euro price equates to 7p unless my calcs are off!

Any bets on an RNS this week or will there be a bit of slippage We are prone to suffering this particular PTR affliction if history repeats itselfVGLTA

Crudde99, what do you mean by 'recent times'? A week, a month, 1 year, 5 years etc? Like a few others here I bought in in Sept/Oct 2013. The share price has increased from 3.2p to today's close (5.8p ?). In the last few months we've had the Ukraine/Russia conflict, depressed world markets and the recent, serious oil price dip (even if the vast majority of investors with half a brain know that's a temporary dip in oil prices) surely you think PTR has held up remarkably well?

Anyway, I can only assume by 'complete capitulation' of the share price you were referring to a 3-5 year period given that it's almost doubled in the last 12 months.

I've always said that it was going to be a long and hard up hill haul for the second coming of PTR. However, even i am slightly perplexed by the current obvious lack of interest in the Co...!! It sure looks like it's going to take a lot lot more than future promise and expectations this second time around. After the complete capitulation of the share price in recent times can you really blame shareholders this time for thinking twice ..???

Yh dbarron haha...I like to have some historical data to reference the numbers or how do we judge the results...steelwatch you've been here a while and seem to know your oils...why has this company got so little coverage and interest...I was here in the early days...back couple years back and now my view was the oil India deal being a game changer (in terms of interest and not directly a share price increase) with production increases (time will tell on this)...despite natlata slowing the farmout completion, in addition to Russian regulators, what is holding back interest in this stock? Track record, Russia, management, low reserves? etc...interest being the key word...I still believe this will get there but it certainly is not being shouted from the rafters by tipsters etcGla

This is how it should move with f all volume and no news. The drop from 6.4 to 5.8 is imho pure manipulation with the little volume that was seen over that period.
