You never know..........MATD is leaky.

If the situation is near to resolution, or someone knows its been agreed to be resolved and the signatures are coming in the days ahead......might explain the surge.

The biggie Red Deer is now being drilled. Should be around 25 days to 28 days.

1st week of September for news I would say.

My buy order not going to get filled today on MATD.

At least it leaves my powder dry waiting for an ECO duster, if it is a duster, and share price falls and volumes out seem to suggest bad news leaking off of the rig down there for ECO.

Hope its not a duster, too many people far too over leveraged it seems, but I am ready to buy in at the bottom if it is and ride the bounce upwards into the next well they have.

Red Deer is delayed spud, I was wondering why, now we can speculate why....they were ensuring with the Ministry that all was in place with the local provincial council so the same would not happen again - all ok - then spud.

Hence the delay to Red Deer-1 in my opinion.

You would be a brave man Pro. I don't think the company have even nearly been clear enough on the situation and if Red Deer could suffer the same fate.

P*ss up and brewery always spring to mind with this company and why I only have a small punt.

I have a large wad of funds waiting to pile into ECO if they have a duster.......but tempted to put it in here if these blip below 6p.

Only drilled over 500m so reading into the statement they obviously tried last week when drilling stopped to get this turned round quick as possible, they've had no luck so had to issue a operational update that delays could be longer than thought. Lucky we have news on RED DEER spud to dampen the bad news, share price could've been a lot worse

It seems the paperwork was between 2 government departments and the regional government, would PM even know about this?
On second thoughts PM must have been in touch with the regional government so this should have been flagged up before.
Is this a country of crooks or is this a genuine oversight? I guess we will find out soon enough although if this goes awry it may be detrimental to Mongolia's oil industry so they should do everything possible to restart drilling.
