What are the sort of flow rates expected from this type of field at Heron-1 ?

Will be interesting to see how Elixir get on with the CBM drill which will be soon as well.




Last day of July, will MATD be able to spud Red Deer-1 and have the 2 drills ongoing, or are they going to delay slightly to allow Heron-1 to complete about a week before Red Deer-1 completes.......allow some breathing space ?

I presume when you say "you dont know", you are referring to the well results. If thats the case, then yes you are correct, I dont know whether the drill results will be positive, hence my use of the word "potential". However, I'm 75% confident.

As for my use of the word "cheap". I do believe that the shares trading at 8p are cheap. Could be wrong, but thats my opinion and there is nothing wrong with having an opinion.

Maybe you should pick up some shares?

Only time will tell, and of course finding oil...but with a 75%+ CoS it dosn't get much better, plus a continuous three more well drilling plan...

Regardless of what this is, the price at 8p is very cheap given what is imminent. Red Dear would be the big one but Heron would do for starters. Both could see us at 3 figures. So much potential to come. Very exciting times.

One of those buys is mine. Happy to increase at these prices given the 75% COS. This should be closer to 10p pre drill results. More 10% plus days to come I think.

Stock appears quote tight.......small buys are pushing the price up, which suggests that no background sellers........which is positive going forward.

Especially if we get shorts squeeze later and they cannot close their positions as stock is not in ready supply.

Well.........its possible.

The Chinese reckoned they could drill and log in 19 days, and if thats the case, they would be in the target zone now.

However, thats a wee bit fast compared to what the company said........but end of the day the Chinese are doing the drilling.

I doubt it is a leak, volume is still very low. Looks to me just like some position taking ahead of potential news from 12th August onwards.

Tick Tock again......... looks like the run up to results is now underway, the pre-spud rise sold, the drop post spud now being bought into by those willing to hold for this over 75% CoS appraisal well.

Yes, I was expecting spud of Red Deer yesterday, looks like some delay, or maybe they are just going slow in order to allow Heron-1 to get to TD before Red-Deer 1 gets to TD........spread it out rather than both happening at the same time.

Just looking at the facts.....volume up and price up. Points to those who sold at 8p+ now buying back in at 7p+.

Given Heron-1 is as good as it gets when it comes to appraisal - over 75% chance of success......who in their right mind does not want to be long MATD by Friday 9th of August.

This has been mentioned before tomford8 and it does appear PM are being a little cautious by almost doubling the drill time. However, it tells us DQE are experienced drilling here which is a big tick for a positive outcome. I suppose we could have a result from 12th August onward so that if all goes to plan they can test the well quickly and get the rig moved to the next location.
But who knows...
