Drilling season ends at the end of November (sometimes earlier if its well below average).

WH-1 is only a 30 day drill.

Drilling season starts in April.....


Present forecasts are for slightly above average temperatures into mid November.

We know all that Gunsof, 6 wells fully funded, 1st well near completion. 5 more to go, this year or next. Any strike along the way and it's game changer. I do have the time and patience with my investment here.

With an average low of -15.7 in Nov and with just seven weeks to the start of Nov inc well decommissioning ops, packing up, movement with associated logistics etc, I hope for your sake that there is sufficient time. Fwiw I have been calling this risk from May!

The average low infers that much lower spikes in temp exist. Brrrrrrr etc etc. Record Nov low was -37 degrees celsius!!

Sinopec and PetroChina are producing next to Block XX.

Blocks IV and V are totally undrilled. Blocks IV and V have undergone aerial survey, magnetics, 2D seismic, some 3D etc....

Pro....appreciate your considered posts. Just starting to research MATD and was wondering if you/any posters could answer a quick question.Is Mongolia currently producing from any oil fields nearby to our acreage? Any historic wells nearby that have been drilled, seismic etc?Thanks for any info offered...will continue my reading today.

Exactly gus......... Block XX should be the final fall back position if SL-1 and WH-1 and Fox-1 all fail.

Then ok....... go ahead and drill Block XX for some production and cashflow.

Strike at SL-1 or WH-1 or Fox-1 and then its farm out time........... or appraise and firm up more and then farm out.

Lets not forget, Blocks IV and V have the potential for over 20 BILLION barrels of oil.


Similar in potential oil size to say the licenses of BPC............. we are talking massive potential and its why already the then BG farmed into these 2 blocks before being bought out by Shell and thus dropped.


Say that again.........over 20 billion barrels of oil potential in Blocks IV and V.
