So is this one of those Scotherman? Over inflated P/E?

414K sell and 415K buy at same time for 449.5p mystery this morning. Always intrigued by such moves. Big fellas playing around with books? Anyway market was overenthusiastic with trump visions....reality setting in for many of the overinflated stocks with unrealistic P/E.

There is a determination to push this down again. It should be kept around the 4.50 mark with buybacks now as there is absolutely no point in it drifting back to 4.00. It only helps the shorters.

Holding steady in 450s when the market is down is a good sign IMHO. Let us see what the short big boys were upto yesterday. Wolf oversight in my last post....wish they sold 558k at 552p.
Patience......patience.....wait....wait before some of ye all in for quick gains think of hitting the sell button. Consolidation going on for the next leg up into 460s.

Exactly - there will undoubtedly be a series of consolidations in payments.

TOo fragmented at the moment. Just need to pick the winners.

In gaming PTEC were an obvious winner but few picked GVC to come through on the rails.

All on fairly low volume.

There are two events in Paysafe's events calendar in the next two days. Both in London, tomorrow is Morgan Stanley's European Financials conference and on Thursday is Citi's Digital Money Symposium.

At the Citi one, JL has a brief slot in the agenda commenting on 'Consolidating a Fragmented Landscape: An M&A wave in Payments?' !

Sch is a puddler not worth pays mgt time especially as public listed - imagine the noise and poor value vs ebit required. Pays generally does not do public

Good SCH results. Same model but smaller fish.Just to take them out as competition makes some sense but diversification not specialisation the push so unlikely

@scothernman - I think you meant 452 :)

It will be COB tomorrow before we know - shorts are only obliged to report on a T+1 basis ( i.e. report today for yesterday's close)

It was a negotiated trade - last time they used OTC trade - so we know it was an institutional deal and therefore possible was further short action .

Lots of big interest at the end of each day for PAYS. Something afoot?

May be of interest.

Gaming gains

MGM China shares jumped 5.3% in trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Friday, while peers Wynn Macau and Sands China rose 2.4% and 1% respectively and that capped off a solid week for all three of the Macau casino operators. Meanwhile, on Friday in trading on the Nasdaq, Wynn Resorts also surged 3.8%. The Fat Prophets Global Opportunities, US and Asian Managed Account Portfolios are overweight the Macau gaming sector via all four stocks.

Surprised no-one has mentioned the comparison of 2016 free cashflow at PAYS and Worldpay. PAYS has $202m and Worldpay has £171m. Both investing heavily in their platforms. Puts PAYS on more than double the free cashflow yield.

The opportunity to expand outside of gambling is right there for Paysafe, the biggest mobile wallet player in the West after Paypal, as demonstrated by Patm launching in canada:
