09/12/2016 09:52 | Good follow up on Revolut, EH9, all in favour of ditching low/no margin work. | lomax99

09/12/2016 08:54 | Looks to me paysafe has been the smart one on refocusing on digital wallets rather than physical cards in uneconomic markets and in dealing with Revolut. Paysafe is going after the big time with a first rate cfo focused on the economics. Revolut meanwhile is clearly finding its cards loss making and has not achieved regulatory approval.Http://uk.b | eh9
09/12/2016 02:08 | Paysafe have said they can borrow 2.5x proforma ebitda i.e. $293m x 2.5 x 2 (if target same size ebitda potential as Paysafe) - $150m debt outstanding at April 2017 = $1.3bn acquisition or higher if there were a rights and or some shares involved too. They can buy Sagepay using existing debt arrangements and still have another $600m for a further deal. I doubt Sagepay would be more than about $500m. | eh9
09/12/2016 01:25 | Plenty of capacity to riase $750mn debt - assuming buying on a PE of 10 | wolfhound1
08/12/2016 21:53 | Can they afford it without coming to the market? I suspect not,the balance sheet looks stretched already. | nurdin
08/12/2016 21:38 | I suspect Paysafe would buy the whole of sagepay since U.K. And Europe very small vs USA cannot imagine sage would keep them....good company, good deal, great synergies given India will be ready by deal closure | eh9
08/12/2016 21:10 | About 2.5x 2016 sales...sounds reasonable. edit..ah selling only the USA bit...hard to judge the valuation in that case. | nurdin
08/12/2016 20:55 | Telegraph today mentioning Sage to sell off north America payments wing, saying could be worth up to $500m. | johnv

08/12/2016 16:41 | This is affecting people's pensions so you have to question the morality of such actions and whether it should be made illegal. | melf
08/12/2016 16:31 | The trouble is that this sort of shorting of a good company just to frighten off investors and depress the share price could harm the company and hamper its progress. IMO it should be made illegal in some circumstances | malcolmmm
08/12/2016 15:55 | I think the shorters are at it again, very tedious | malcolmmm
08/12/2016 15:52 | Red again - shocking!!! | f1araway
08/12/2016 15:28 | my bad - caught by click-bait on Google finance - they have it appearing as if it was only released today at top of news list with 7 hours but article on closer inspection of date as you note is from November - ( perhaps they updated/edited it today) | wolfhound1
08/12/2016 15:16 | That financemagnates.com piece was released on 8th November in response to their trading update released on that date, it is not an updated piece. | lomax99
08/12/2016 15:14 | Pleasure Stockbob - my read was - message to shorters.... "you've had your fun, now move along, nothing to see here - all is well, and we are busy delivering a record year and even further improving our product, technology, people, now runa along and pick on someone who really is over-valued- we are already cheap as chips compared to peers !!" | wolfhound1
