At this price I not worried about short-term, though the 'euphoria' could go on for a while if Wall Streets preferred candidate gets in.
The chart looks as if there 's further to go after a bit of consolidation,I would have thought.
They still have assets elsewhere.

Agreed boadicea. Alignment and progression could in theory hint at a decent deposit down the road. I've not looked at the drill grids to try and assess this - too little motivation.

IMO today's early blip up was as much legacy from Friday as the customary short-lived goosing from a vaguely positive RNS. That doesn't rule out continued share price gains, but much depends upon the US election - in the short run $ gold may be hammered if Killary wins.

There is more needs to be known about today's announced grades and widths.
To me they look unlikely to justify an underground operation and the depths are probably too great for an economic open pit operation.
However, there is gold there and homing in on similar grades at lesser depth or a sizeable zone of ~100 gm.metre could dramatically alter the picture.

Yes realism is best....the share seems to be in recovery,the numbers today might not be spectacular but we are on the right trend at last.
That's the way I'm looking at it.
Gold was due a bit of a pullback as well,in my opinion.

Two pieces of positive news in a week. That's a first for PGD.

IMO, I agree with DoobyDave. Todays news is not that significant,in that the real story lies in Argentina.

From a positive point of view today's rns creates volume which allows the sellers to sell into it. That's got to be good news.

Dave, PGD's 2017 will depend almost entirely upon Argentinian ops and the gold price.

Uruguayan exploration will have to be a lot more compelling than a best hole at just over 20 gram metres. But I suppose it's a start.
