Kirchner Official Caught Burying Millions Outside Convent

The former No. 2 at Argentina’s Public Works Ministry was arrested after he was caught burying bags containing millions of dollars in cash in the grounds of a convent near Buenos Aires.

Jose Lopez, who served as public works secretary under ex-President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and her late husband, Nestor Kirchner, was found with an assault rifle and six bags containing dollars, euros, Japanese yen and Qatari riyal. Local media outlets broadcast and published images of Lopez wearing a bullet-proof vest and riot helmet in custody outside a police station on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.

Dave, my apologies for that stupid comment on MIRL - I had not read the new chairman's statement on the MIRL board, having assumed (wrongly it seems) that MIRL was a dead duck. As you say on that board - wonderful news! Bring on the re-listing!

Same with minera as well huge potential there if the funding from confide is available. The only gold stock at the moment I'm concern about is crnd.

Andy fair point however look at the interest in shares! I think these will be bought up towards 10p on a good run in gold price. Shares work in cycles and gold stocks in my opinion are due a bull run over the next few years. I don't think investors are willing to take 50% more like 500% at very minimum. I agree 50% profit is ok but holding for much more is more rewarding especially when this starts to move

At 2.5p places are making a 50% gain, easy money for them, with virtually no risk.

How far is the $10 million going to take them in terms of development of the project out of intterest?

Couldn't buy a single share under 2.25p on Friday after 16:20pm so must be under demand. Either way fully funded, high gold price and profitable down to 850 per ounce. Not a bad investments at this level
