I hope some directors start buying shares here. Besides Tom , the other directors own a pitiful amount. Must be many years since any of them bought on the open market whilst taking over inflated salaries.

Catsick, I hope some of the directors come across as well and bring their money. All Toms pals from the past and it would strengthen the pmg expertise and deal making.

I am guessing a lot of Faroe holders will sell up now and roll into pmg ...

I see DNO just upped their offer for FPM.

That values PMG's stake at £6.22m.

Agreed, but some volume to add liquidity would be a blessing. I missed out on trading the DNX swings when it was buffering around 10-15p back in the day and this stock seems to have similar behaviour undulations. :)

How about a midsummer compo?
Sames rules (but without the wine!) , high water mark effective close of play 24th June?

I think H1 is going to be very exciting. I'm going to up slightly to £1.70.
With Platypus announcement, GPA announcement and perhaps some other deals (WoS, NL) I think it quite possible that the current ~£30m 'valuation' of the O&G assets will finally get recognized as 'this is going to happen and is worth £XXXm'!!

It's too early in the year to forecast the year-end share price. If I had to do so I'd go for 100p but I've little expectation of being right. Need to hear from the company and see some concrete progress before performing the sacred rites of the price oracle.

The field manager was out at the Scott platform yesterday and indicated the deal was just about to be stamped.
Its not far away now ....

Good, bring it on!That was my 50k, in the hope that something has to move soon....I doubled up in CLNR as well, in the belief that there will be confirmation of a drilling decision on at least one of their NS gas licences.

Not likely to be any bid until they announce that something they've been working on has come off.

Certainly not hoping for an offer/bid at this stage! And any bid pretty unlikely to succeed given mgt hold approx 30%.

They need to (will!) develop GPA. OGA approval to go in to FEED is due in March. FID in Q4 2019 with 1st hydrocarbons currently planned for late 2021.
Hopefully an announcement on Platypus in H1 too.

It's going to be an exciting year for PMG.

They will probably (almost certainly IMHO) trade a % of GPA for the Scott tie in.
The question is what %, and in what timescales. Will they just announce Perth/Dolphin/Lowlander, or will they set out plans for the other prospects as part of the deal - drilling Fynn &/or Penny, resurrecting Athena, hooking up Polecat & Marten also?

Then there is WoS - maybe some news on that front also - The initial license term end date is Feb 2021. Don't know licence details but likely they need to drill by then, so need a partner/farmout if they think it worthwhile, and fairly soonish - it's only two years away!

Block 205/13 is situated in the Faroe-Shetland Trough in the West of Shetland region of the UK North Sea, to the northeast of the Lancaster field. The primary play fairway developed on this acreage is the Paleocene Vaila Formation which forms the reservoir in the important nearby oil fields at Foinaven, Schiehallion and Loyal, and also in the Laggan and Tormore gas discoveries which are situated to the northeast of Sanda.

The Vaila Formation consists of a sequence of interbedded sandstones, deposited in a submarine fan environment, and contains five main reservoir units. Detailed mapping of Block 205/13 indicates two exploration targets, Sanda North and Sanda South, which are defined by distinct amplitude anomalies in the Palaeocene Vaila section.

The Sanda prospects have been de-risked through the drilling of a previous well up-dip of the amplitude anomaly. Parkmead’s experienced team of geoscientists has already undertaken extensive seismic reprocessing work on the license and has recently acquired detailed geochemical data from the previously drilled well. This new data will be analyzed to further de-risk the target ahead of a drilling decision at Sanda.
The Sanda North and Sanda South prospects, which are both operated by Parkmead, have the potential to contain 280 MMbbl of recoverable oil on a most likely, P50 basis.

Chutes

why do you say that?

both HUR and SDX have had upward blips bigger than this in recent days. SDX rose by 20% the other day.

I don't think these moves tell you much about companies being "in play". I think it's more a case of investors deciding to re-enter the E&P sector.

I could see NexenCNOOC offering a buyout, fingers crossed.
They need a sweetening plant if the Scott is to get the production of this field.
If not a buyout i think NexenCNOOC will take a percentage of the field.
Time will tell, happy days to come
