Park Group's continuing businesses of Cash Savings and Cash Lending are
"currently trading in line with expectations, with encouraging levels of growth
year on year", Peter Johnson, chairman, told shareholders at today's Annual
General Meeting in Birkenhead. "Prospects for the year appear good."

Worth reading the results again....the underlying growth is truly strong and seems PKG are set to deliver strong growth again this year.Specially pleasing to see is the introduction of new products namely
-Park Travel...this will provide alternative savings cycle to xmas
-Direct Insurance...a highly cash generative product to be targeted at the ever growing list of customers on their data base.Note also that
-in cash lending, which generated operating profits 29% above last year, collections are already up 55% above last year levels
-loan books were up 82%
-cheque cashing revenues were up 52%
-overall margins are set to improve as interest rates rise this year
I havent seen brokers forecasts for the current year but Id be very surprised if they are not revised upwards markedly and more so for the next.
My conservative guesstimate is that they will turnover about £250m this year and make operating profit of near £5m,equivalent to eps of circa 2.7p.That put PKG on current year pe of 11,falling to perhaps 8.5 next year as the new products take grip on the market.Id say thats cheap!!

Pretax and eps from continuing business ahead of market expectations
pretax £5m...eps 1.94p against expectations of 1.8p

Peter Johnson, Chairman, comments: "On completion of the conditional sale
announced yesterday of Park Group's design and packing business, Link Brand
Solutions, Park will have completed the disposal of its peripheral
under-performing assets, enabling it to focus on delivering sustainable long
term growth in its core divisions. In cash savings, agent retention rates are
up again in the current year while orders for Christmas 2004 show an increase of
9.4 per cent over 2003. In cash lending, collections are currently 55 per cent
above last year's levels."

I hope the following statement at the interims is well reflected in tomorrows results;

Peter Johnson, chairman, states: "Our cash savings and cash lending divisions
continue to enjoy healthy growth. Strong cash flow and a recession-resilient
business model provide us with a stable platform on which to build these two
core activities. Their performance so far in the current year has been such
that I am confident of further progress for the full year to next March."

Park Group plc ('Park Group') agrees conditional sale of non-core design and
packing business to a management buy-in team

Park Group, whose preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2004 are due
to be released tomorrow, announces that it has conditionally agreed to sell the
business and assets of its design and packing operation, Link Brand Solutions
Limited ('Link Brand'), to a management buy-in team. This follows the disposal
to Wirral Borough Council in April of Park's call centre facility, Consus.

Park Group will retain the freehold building at Chesterfield from which Link
Brand conducts its business and would receive an annual rent from the purchaser.
The value of the net assets to be disposed of would be £802,000.
Link Brand's 48 employees would transfer their services to the new owner of the
business.

Commenting, Peter Johnson, chairman of Park Group, said: 'The sale of Link Brand
would complete the disposal of activities considered peripheral to Park Group's
core divisions of cash savings and cash lending, leaving the group better
focused on developing these two businesses in order that they may achieve their
full potential. '

Well then, results were 6 June last year, so what are we expecting this time.

Hopefully some positive vibes for the future following the sale of the 'millstone' call centres and further growth in cash lending.

Confident management to increase interim divi in the face of bigger loss.

Park Group Completes the Disposal of its Call Centre

Park Group plc ('Park'), the financial services business, has completed the
disposal, to Wirral Borough Council, of its loss-making call centre facility in
Birkenhead. This follows an announcement to the Stock Exchange on 16 February
2004 that the company had reached agreement in principle to dispose of the
facility.

This strategic withdrawal from the outsourced inbound call centre market leaves
Park better placed for the future and enables it to focus on its growing cash
savings and cash lending divisions.

Worth going over the brokers estimates again:
02 0.92A
03 1.35A
04 1.64* E
05 2.67* E

*04 and 05 estimates assume the call centre still part of the Group.
Shore have stated that with disposal of the CC,this years earnings will come at 2.17p on continuing activities, with one off loss on CC disposal.
Assuming we can apply the same ratios for the 05 estimates,05 earnings could be around 3.5p..thats PE of less than 10 and earnings growth of 60% year on year. That is cheap in anyones book!

Looks like they have got shot of the Call Centre.

A real drain off otheir hands now - taking a charge but forward profits should soar with this out of the way.

Onward and upward now I would think.
