08/1/2016 15:39 | lower highs and lower lows suggests more pain just yet. | the drewster
08/1/2016 12:07 | Been adding here recently. Low P/E and PEG. £50m buyback in progress. Low price/book compared to other challengers. dyor | aishah
16/12/2015 10:02 | Jury is out. Overshoots, upwards and downwards, are inevitable, which to me means they are likely to go lower. You pays your money ... | the drewster
16/12/2015 09:56 | Has anyone compared ARW to this -its IDEM subsidiary seems to operate in the same market? | davebowler
15/12/2015 21:59 | Carney is worried about buy to let so there are going to be some more headwinds. Hopefully not forcing the share price down to £3. Suet | suetballs
15/12/2015 13:31 | ... but there-in lies the problem, the press over egging the fears. I suspect this will go lower, and now target 300 as an entry point. | the drewster
15/12/2015 11:55 | This is now overdone.Buy to let will not die, after the political dust is moved aside. There are still few stable investment opportunities that compare long term with property ownership. Interest rate fears are also hyped by press comment. | inki
26/11/2015 13:04 | I am a buy to let investor. I am in the process of buying/ adding to my property portfolio. I have negotiated a reduction in the asking price to compensate me for the stamp duty increase. I'm sure that other buy to let landlords will simply do the same. | mallorca 9
26/11/2015 08:10 | What is not being featured in the current pricing, is additional margins as interest rates start to rise. | inki
25/11/2015 16:06 | Next resistance 350 ? Mr Market I suspect will avoid until the effects of the Autumn Satement are clear on the demand for buy to let loans and the level of house prices. If the Chancellor's hopes come to pass could be some blood here. (imo) | pugugly
25/11/2015 14:51 | 3% Stamp duty increase for buy to let and second homes in spending review today. | irenekent
25/11/2015 08:22 | I'd like some for around 300, but would start buying if they dip to 350. | the drewster
24/11/2015 11:22 | Buy to Let market is under threat big time with taxation changes announced in the summer budget. A lot of landlords will no longer be looking to expand their portfolio's and when potential new landlords realise the returns are not what they thought, they won't buy with mortgages. Add in a stagnation in house prices in the south and I can see growth coming under pressure with the other challenger banks lending in this sector. | uhound
24/11/2015 10:36 | I take it that this one's 'under the radar'. Outstanding financial results. | mallorca 9
24/11/2015 08:28 | Those results are outstanding. I'm surprised that the market is slow in reacting to them. | mallorca 9
24/11/2015 07:28 | Results look OK to me. On the up. Suet | suetballs
22/11/2015 12:12 | Final numbers next Tuesday. IMO the pessimism has been overdone but we'll soon find out. Suet | suetballs
20/11/2015 08:29 | Bouncing off the trend line? Will it hold and confirm further rises... | the drewster
19/11/2015 12:45 | To be honest if Paragon cannot do well in these conditions they may as well give up. Think this is a case of MM's pushing the price down to try and fill orders in anticipation of strong results rather than anything more sinister. The Securitisation today for Paragon mortgages seems to have got off ok so personally cannot see an issue but we shall soon see. GLA and DYOR | devoncop
19/11/2015 12:45 | BLOOMBERG:- Virgin Money Holdings UK Plc and Aldermore Group Plc may require more capital if British regulators impose tougher rules to curb the buy-to-let housing market, Bank of America Corp. said. I guess there is some "read across" to PAG | future financier
19/11/2015 12:36 | Market appears to be getting nervous ahead of the results next Tuesday, ?? Is Mr Market right ?? Thoughts | pugugly |
