Thanks Scot

NGMS27 - ref Rule 7 " assumptions shall not be made on the basis of scanty information".
We have seen earlier that when Pantheon are not forthcoming it does not necessarily mean bad news. We will have clarity after the flow test (Start of March is my best guess), or before. Were the flow test to be dropped, that would also tell everything.

Weren't we supposed to have the SFS numbers within a month of the first post drill webinar?

You can all draw your own conclusions as to what the outcome is.

Hi unlikely2 - I don't think you've missed anything. I agree that there's been comparatively little guidance issued about the SFS. It's described in the VAS explanation and when Roger Young goes through the seismic models but that's about the extent of the formal guidance, I believe. Happy to be corrected. I suppose that whatever volume of oil is present that equates to an upgrade heading our way?

Hi overeager - in my mind's eye, what you have described in post #18658 is how I am reading the situation too, FWIW.

Up he pops from the middle office mediocrity of Middle Earth. The angst-ridden troll who, please recall, has declared himself to be at the very pinnacle of his chosen profession to a forum full of anonymous avatars. Hmmm...exactly the conduct you expect from a fulfilled, contented and fully-rounded person, lol.

Naturally it would be a cold day in Hell before this was to happen but if he had access to my digital workflow from yesterday evening he would not see the word "reddit" appear anywhere.

What a deeply damaged fella. Cry harder, johnswan193.

Let me add my thanks to Scot for posting the link to the Alaska DNR information. Excellent news indeed. I'm anticipating just a couple more weeks until funding news and then it's full steam ahead.

FWIW I fully expect that management are in the final stages of farm out talks but this time with the sure knowledge that a backup plan of a placement to fund this winter's activity would be very straightforward, thus allowing them to negotiate hard with potential suiters.

Slope Fan System. I have not found much comment or guidance as to the volumes / areal extent of the SFS. Am I missing something here ? Would appreciate being pointed at any company docs or presentation which give concrete info.

Maybe they have downgraded this due to the immense potential elsewhere, or maybe after lease auction results are issued later today more info might be made available.

Yep well done to Scot for digging around and finding that bit of info (on Reddit Panr channel) and posting it here. A more honourable approach would be to cite the source.

what ever they do risk and reward have to be balanced. Its time to get unqualified success. We have been very patient and this board demonstrates the feelings good and bad. I for one would like to see transparency so we know exactly what the plan is before they undertake the winter programme. No more additional gambles please. We don't need additional risk there is plenty of it already.

18 Jan - 15 Apr. Theta West #1 well drilled, cased, tested, and suspended

"Suspended"- clearly confident of a well they will need at a later stage....

"we raise funds for TW and farmout Alkaid as Alkaid can be a producing asset next summer and would appeal to a different Audience"

I suspect you might not be too far off the mark, Sirmark.

A reminder to all that the broker note from Canaccord, which raised their current fair value to 170p, stated that the BoD were seeking a farm out for the coming seasons work plan. They say it would be impossible to determine what terms of any farm out would be, so have budgeted for a fund raise to provide $40M, within the 170p fair value. Hence from the house broker *fair value POV* the upcoming season is already 80 to 90 percent funded :-) GLAC

Could be spot on, wow what a call that would be in a 50/50 scenario lol Nothings confirmed yet and still time to go.... And there's another possibility I suggest that we raise funds for TW and farmout Alkaid as Alkaid can be a producing asset next summer and would appeal to a different Audience than the larger TW.

waterpolo - Lol, the to and fro between the Alaskan regulator and PANR concerning the drilling and testing plans for Talitha #A and Theta West is *not* the appropriate venue to be describing the progress made in farm out negotiations!

I find it both absolutely hilarious and truly scary that a bunch of old, retired males think they need to advise PANR management and their fellow PANR shareholders what date it is, no doubt when they glance up at their Countryfile calendars. FFS guys!!! Think about it?

a) The BoD managed to raise $30m last year when the POO was $35-40. Are you seriously suggesting this same team of professionals isn't capable of securing $50m (by whichever method) when the POO is now $80; when they have the Baker Hughes VAS results from Talitha #A; and after they secured the Theta West leases for 10 years (complete with its 1.4bbo contingent resource) for the princely sum of $3.3m??????

b) Do you think PANR management or Nordic-Calista management would have inserted or given permission to insert Nordic-Calista's details in formal paperwork with the state regulator unless they were damn sure they had a clear pathway to securing funding?

c) Here's a more likely scenario than the one which sees a bunch of whinging old men worrying about PANR being unfunded for the upcoming winter programme. Have you considered the BoD may have competing farm out options? Perhaps even sufficient competing options that there's a Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, Plan D.....all the way to Preparation H especially for the whingers?! Perhaps the BoD can live with 3 out of 7 farm out options and that was what gave them the confidence to go ahead and reserve the Nordic-Calista Rig 3 for the winter season? FML.
