From citywire this morning.

Guardian: Central banks have boosted their gold stocks by almost 10% since the financial crash, reflecting its renewed attractiveness as a safe haven in an environment of uncertainty and low or negative interest rates.

Guess its a straightforward punt on results now, due Wednesday. However the company said these should be ahead of expectations so heavily weighted towards the upside I suspect. Also the rate decisions and pog to contend with. Aimho, dyor, etc...

This is frustrating isn't it. Looks like it's going to go up, big buys coming in, then down and level at the close.

I expect that the uncertainty over gold and silver will be removed next week when the central banks decide what to do about interest rates. The last time they raised rates last December, the general markets crashed and gold zoomed up out of it's long term bear trend to start this current bull market in PM's. The central banks are not in the business of rocking the boat and I expect them to kick the can down the road about interest rates until later.

I have been carefully buying selected stocks during this current uncertainty and now own HOC, PAF, HUM and AAZ in order of value. I expect that gold will climb to new high levels very shortly above £1400.

Good luck.

Paf announced on the 16th last year, hopefully news
soon.

A fair percentage, but that is always the case with my
portfolio as I do not hold many stocks.
