Just sold a few more, got £4.91 in old pace money, not too bad. It's been a long journey, 15 years or so for me and hopefully with a bit of a share price surge in the coming weeks I can bring the curtain down on this chapter. Made some decent money here over the years but it's certainly been a roller-coaster and not without some stress along the way.

Year end 31st December I think and so perhaps a trading update in the New Year or a pre-close statement at the end of the year?

Headline: FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler to Step Down After Trump Takes Office

Quote: "FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler said he will depart the agency after President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in next month."

Summary: Wheeler championed net neutrality and "both of Trump’s telecom-policy advisers have voiced strong opposition to the measure". A Republican majority is expected to control the FCC.

Commentary: Wheeler also championed the FCC's set-top box ruling which was thought to have a negative impact on the business of STB makers like Arris; I don't want to try and predict what will happen to this but there is now more chance that it will be watered down or delayed. The demise or weakening of the net-neutrality ruling may mean that the network operators may be able to cream off some of the profits going to the content distributors (e.g. Netflix), and content creators, in carriage fees. These profits will hopefully be invested back into the networks to construct the bandwidth required for premium quality video delivery over IP networks.

Yes, I think he may have decided to write that article with that title in mind and then looked to justify it in the text, and I think he struggles and perhaps realised that too. Still a good balanced piece and a good read for uber-bulls (like me!) but if he is proved right then I would not suggest as a value trap, to me it is simply that at this price the downside risk exists yet is muted, whilst there is also a consideration of increasing upside risk!

I think BobS was just releasing himself a near $1m and he seems like someone else waiting on $30 before realising some gains - perhaps he should take the blame for the latest kerfuffle trying to hold $30.

AlexWhat a lovely way to view the world. It will be quite interesting to see how it pans out. If you're right I may need to adjust my cynical opinion of the majority of people.
