Still find the whole thing confusing, as there were about 2.7million
shares in issue before suspension, now offering up to 45million shares for
futurescope or futurama or whatever, I looked back and i bought 10000 shares
of gbp0.20, late 2001, july 2002 rcvd new cert after i think 5 for 1 split,
so now holding cert for 2000 shares of 5p each, but every where seems to quote
for shares of 0.5p, hope im going to find that there was a 10 for 1 split
and i still own 18000, after selling 2000 today!!
As i said i rang the registrars and they have me down for 2000 shares of 0.5p.
Just something confusing somewhere, will be happy when moneys in bank!

Andy- I'll watch with interest but I'm glad to be out really. Don't see where the value is. Hated having money tied in there for so long. Have a look at AFD - went up 8p at the end for no reason that we know of. Must be something in the wind. Have a good evening- celebrate!

Hi Andy2000 - tried to leave a message for you in various places in case you hadn't seen it. Mine was in a nominee account and so the old share certs. must be OK. Hard to believe but prefer to be out. Could have got more than 75p if I'd waited but sold some at 94p. Great!

New company into genetic engineering anyway, like to try and be a bit ethical,
so if they still continue upwards , ive got an excuse for selling early!

i sold 20.000 in total at 77ish! and my share certs are for 5p ords

they didnt issue new certificates see my earleir post and the 5p ords are valid according to the registrars

ring registrars if you arent sure

HELP, just sold 2000@96p which is what i have on share cert.
Nat west say shares are of 0.5p my cert says ord shares of 5p??
Checked with registrar they have me down for 2000 shares of 0.5,
same certificate no, so they say ok to sell 2000

Any ideas? have they split again?

Sold the rest of mine at 94p. Oops- sold too low at 75p for the first lot but a good profit overall. Sounds an odd deal to me.

The placing appears to have been done at around 15p. Frankly, the current market valuation of this company is completely false. It bears no relation to the ongoing business or the valuation at which the deal occurred. There's also far too little detail in the announcement. I notice that if the maximum consideration ends up being paid (and there is absolutely nothing about the criteria), current shareholders will only own around 10% of the company. To me this reads like a fundraising cleverly arranged in such a way that new funds get injected along with a stock market listing for which the company probably wouldn't qualify otherwise, all bought for the surrender of little equity.

All in all a very interesting piece of market activity. In the medium term, current shareholders look likely to be completely shafted.

dell- Heaven knows why they are valued so high and am horrified to see that they are still going up but happy to get back anything really. Still no word to shareholders. Still got another 5000, so if they do well, fine!

mclellan - glad to see you've done alright, after my permanent cynicism!

This still looks like a mad valuation to me(but that doesn't mean it won't go up), unless the new company are going to solve world hunger in a short space of time.
I'm also not impressed by the amount of required detail that is missing from today's statement. As far as I can see, it's impossible to value the company with info provided....

Have I missed something in the acquisition details?

I can't see a number and price for the placing shares.

Also, how are Knifton and Weller included in the concert party lock-in, when they sold all their stock some time ago??

the last trade (even though it was off market) was 25k at 70p some weeks ago
so the sharepages are calculating that because its suspended at 50p then.....need i go on lol

Under 'Fallers 'it includes :
OND Overnet Data 50.5p -28%
Doesn't make sense to me. Anyone know anything?

OND wont stay in the monitor as its been out of the market for so long, when it comes back on stream so will the price.
