Unfortunately,you have held during a bear market in gold.
Your experience was sure to be different to mine.
I was in it years ago when gold was doing well so I returned to it. It is always about timing.
I am not here to persuade people or conversely put them off.
I do not know what will happen to gold from here.
Shares like this are always a risk.

If I choose to get a few of these 'speculative' shares it is my choice just as it is yours not to.

In three years gold has declined about 1%, ORE share price MINUS 95%.Has the penny dropped yet!, gold price has absolutely nothing to do with the share price of a £2m mk cap gold EXPLORATION company.Jeeeez.DD

Maybe I'll see a profit when they 'ride up' on the tide. Better than aue prospects.what a duffer that has been. Come on ore only 10x or ia it 20x and I'll be back in profit. Murderers get less time.

It is difficult to see direction with gold at present.
Nobody knows for sure, I wager, though I sometimes look at the long forecast site as a back-up.
I think the main thing to do is to keep balanced,not spend 'the farm' on these speculative shares and if gold does rise spectacularly then every boat will perhaps ride up with the tide.
If gold isn't in a bull-market then you haven't lost loads and it can sit there perhaps for when it is in favour again hopefully.

a slight uptick.. really need that 0.03 ceiling to be lifted.. heading to 0.05+.. at the moment there is almost a muted response. a tentative response as there is indecision due to direction of gold.

Nassim Taleb the author of the black swan is predicting a coming crash.. but hardly takes a genius to see the markets are rigged and broken and being propped up by money printing.

Colin Bird, Chief Executive of Orogen, commented: "This is a significant milestone in our joint venture on the Mutsk gold project. This completed earn-in is coincident with our pleasing technical results from our previous two drilling programmes. We have yet to report on the final drill holes but the overall prognosis is that the Mutsk property has significant potential to grow in strike length (N/S) and to the east."
