Any progress anyone on finding delayed option pricing sites?

The Eurex site is less than ideal but better than nothing.

Apparently delayed prices are on Phoenix - trying to find them but going very slowly and not going well. I shall try later on a faster pc. The guy to speak to at FXCM is Tom.

yes, it's been a tricky option trading year . I suspect the high-frequency trading backed by vast sums is increasing volatility and abrupt turnarounds .
I am closing or adjusting positions a lot earlier than I used to since premiums can jump steeply when it gets too close to the strike .
Are you changing your aviva position in view of the merger ? I had sold all my aviva shares around 520 taking a good profit but left the door open for re-entry by buying 6x dec 520/540 call spreads . Normally the co offering the premium suffers a drop of share price . Not so sure this time. Also , nothing definite yet, no due diligence or shareholder approval. Deadline on option expiry day in december to make matters worse .

Harv - similar issues; losing money on puts, holding my nerve, then market moving to lose money on naked calls!! I was about £30k down on Aviva at one point then recovered most. Probably sitting overall no gain/no loss which is a really bad year for me so far.

ALP: I heard the same re ICE software changes. Who knows if its development work or bugs in existent software.
Yes , a bit of disaster and interfering with option trading .
How are you faring with your naked calls , ALP ?
After being pressed to close or roll puts in October during the sharp market dip , I am now under pressure on the call side . At least the rally has helped my share portfolio . Spike in VOD very welcome for shares and options .
Short dec puts in vod at 195,205 and 220. Short dec 230 calls , amply covered .
After going ex-divi (3.6p) yesterday , share price already at or above pre-divi price .
I should really reduce my shares but still holding since have faith in Santa.
Had to roll up AZN dec 5000calls to dec 5200 calls. I don't think that pfizer will return but shares can move quite a bit on rumours .

Looks as though ICE are making changes to their site - still no delayed prices.

Any ideas anyone - flying blind?

I bought these earlier in the year c 160, but sold out just over £2. As always best laid plans meant these would carry on rising rather than my expected retrace. I would happily buy at 160 again, but will sit it out at these levels.

Thanks Alphorn, perhaps something to do with the change over but don't know. I've been reading one of Charles M Cottle's PDF's he mentions "platform risk", "execution risk" and "exchange risk" I hadn't had to considered them before now....

Talking to FXCM it seems a bit of a disaster area; they think that ICE/exchange have had some software problems with a system change over, causing brokers a lot of problems.

Spoke to a technical person at ICE - they have no idea what is happening and why the delayed price feeds have stopped - they have sent messages without reply.
Will give FXCM a call.

ICE options site still down today and neither accessing Swiss options through Eurex working. Anyone know the problem?

LIFFE feeds moving over to ICE fully shortly. ICE making a product of theirs called "Option Analytics" available to all customers free. But they will need Web ICE ID to use it and have access to a real time data feed $85 per month apparently.

ALP: I recently took slight bull position selling nov and dec 210 puts @ 5 .
Unfortunately also had to roll higher strikes to june , hoping for recovery .
Shares under water , also hoping for recovery .


Bullish options bet placed today on tesco ahead of oct23rd preliminary.
Somebody bought 225K 190 call options @ 5 debit .
